"Enough Hussain bhai! You were no where to be found these past 6 months", paree said when Hussain asked his bestfriend about his health.

It had been 6 months after that incident had taken place. Imraan had gotten better. He was now a little active. The children were finally in a stable condition.
Pareesima informed Imraan about the loan she had taken from Adam's friend's aunt. They were truly grateful towards her.

Hussain showed up to their place this afternoon.

"Arey bhabhi, try to understand", he told patting Imraans back, "if i didn't run away then there would be two beds here", he laughed,

"It's okay Paree", Imraan told his wife who rolled her eyes back,

"Where are the kids?", he asked Imraan,

"they've gone to tutions"

'He wasn't here when we needed him. Okay i understand that he couldn't physically show up but he could've stayed in touch with us via phone calls? he should've had that much of courtesy at least. My husband got brutally injured fighting for him and he didn't even show up all these months. Now all of a sudden he remembered. Such a double faced man. I really don't understand why Imraan isn't angry at him. If i was Imraan I would never let him enter my house again.', Paree was busy thinking as she was setting the table for them.

They sat in the living room after their lunch,

"waah bhabhi! i must say mutton was really delicious!", he wiped his hand, "Asma can never make me food like this"

Imraan laughed, "if Asma bhabhi hears this then tumhaari khair nahi"

"kids didn't come yet", he said as he put a spoonful of sompf in his mouth.

Later that evening, all of them sat in the patio. Adam and Raina were playing while Laibah was helping Paree put the snacks in the plates. The two men looked at the scene in front of them. Life looked normal to Imraan after a long amount of time.

It had been so many days that he heard genuine laughter of his children. The scenes of his wife pouring chai for him with a tender smile. Life was dramatically disturbed for all these months and now everything started to fall back into place. He felt grateful and took a sigh of relief.

"uncle!", Laibah called out to Hussain as she bought forward a cup of tea towards him.

"thanks beta!", taking the cup he tilted towards Imraan, "Imraan, what have you thought about her?"

"Regarding what?", he said taking slow sips of the elaichi tea Paree made,

"Her marriage"

Laibah looked at her father for the answer.

"Hussain, she's just 17!"

"yeah i know, but what's wrong in marrying young?"

"There's nothing wrong but i think there's time for her. She's too young to understand responsibilities", He answered, "Moreover we never know what kind of man is written for her. She isn't emotionally strong",

"arey! if you're worried about the guy! then marry her to someone you've already been in contact with", he suggested,

"What do you mean Hussain Bhai?", Paree joined the conversation,

"Do you some guy?", Imraan questioned,

"You know my son. I want Laibah for him", Hussain confessed,

Laibah clenched the corners of her dupatta. She took a deep breathe. Why was it? What did that breathe mean?
