"Adam sir, the meetings for today are done, do you have some other work for me?", his assistant asked,

Adam rose from his chair, "Yeah I need the flower vendors number, get it for me please"

The lady walked out of his cabin as her heels ticked on the marble ground,

He moved towards the window of his cabin and stood there losing himself in thoughts,

"Hey!" a man said picking him up from behind,

Adam was terrified by the sudden action and forced him to settle down,

"Dang! You're heavy!!" the man said shaking his arms,

"saaley!! Kutte!!" Adam said punching his stomach as he growled, "you scared the shit outta me",

"saala toh tu hai mera par kutte ka pata nahi", he told taking off his hoodie, "but damn you're heavy, are you eating dumbbells for breakfast",

"What the hell are you doing here?",

"What the hell are you doing here?" Abrar repeated,

"What do you mean what? It's my office"

"What do you mean what? It's my office too", he mocked Adam who stared at him,

"Damn you!!" Adam said punching him again,

"Excuse me sir", his assistant said entering his cabin with a note, "here is the number",

Adam took the note from her hands and she left,

"What are the flowers for?" Abrar asked snatching the note from his hands,

"Your engagement", Adam replied patting his chest,

"By the way, where's my beautiful bride?" Abrar asked shyly,

"Your bride is busy shopping"

"Ah! Let her"

"But aren't you early? I thought you'd come on Saturday"

"I wanted to surprise my Raina"

"Yeah! I got it!" Adam replied showing his thumbs and moving to the desk,

"Adam?" he called and he hummed back in response, "my luggage's outside, can you get it picked up man?"

"You came here directly?"

"Yeah! I wanted to see Raina, it's been more than 4 months"

"Okay! Don't worry I'll take care of it, but it would've been better if you went home first", he said dialling his assistant to get his suitcase picked up,

"Raina is my home, I'm going to meet my version of home first", as urgency and desperation filled his voice,

Adam smiled at his reply, this is what he liked about Abrar, he loved his sister in the right way, he was aware of himself and also aware of Raina, it was as if they were meant to be since always, even though his personality was completely opposite than Adams, it still gave them way to build a level of friendship that would last.

Abrar knew it all; he knew how to handle Raina, he can survive her emotional bursts and most importantly Raina was super comfortable with him, her go-to solution for every problem was Abrar.

In comparison to Adam, Abrar wasn't big, his muscles were smaller than his but the height was nearly the same, he was comfortable in his own skin and that made him stand out.

"Hello, Raina?"Adam said on phone,

"Assalamualikum bhai"

"Walaikumusalaam"
