"Are you okay with this?" He asked the girl sitting next to him,
"Laibah?"

She avoided his eyes because they made her go crazy. Her stomach turned everytime he called her name. Her heart raced when he looked at her. She loved him.

They got engaged on Laibah's 18th birthday. It was a very intimate engagement with minimum number of relatives from both sides of the family.

'It's worth it. He's sitting next to me. We got engaged. He'll be my husband by next week.', her eyes turned to him, ' I've always loved you Danish. I've loved you every since the beginning of time. I waited so much for you. It was all meant to be. The wait was worth it', "I can't wait to be your wife", she told,

Danish felt like banging his head. He wanted to leave the place and escape. He didn't care about her. If it wasn't to make his dad happy, he would've never married Laibah.

Her dress perfectly fit her curvy figure. The red color of the ghunghat gave her goosebumps.

"You're going away, meri gudiya", Pareesima's eyes shined with tears. It was really hard to let go of her daughter especially when her heart didn't agree on the guy.

Laibah was more happier, sadness of getting parted was not even present. She obviously had to leave her parents and siblings but she was now officially going to be his wife.

"Mum don't cry", she said wiping off the tears on her mother's face,

"You'll understand my feelings when you have a daughter of your own", she planted a soft kiss on Laibah's cheek as delicately as she could to not ruin her makeup, "stay happy, you'll always remain my baby"

The camera man snapped the perfect shots of the bride. "Thoda head tilt kijiye", he instructed her to pose.

"Mumma?", Adam popped into the room, "the guests have arrived and dad's calling you", he informed her.

Paree came out of the room and patiently took a deep breathe on the staircase as they walked towards the stage.

Adam sensed his mother's silence, "mum? You look worried"

"Adam my heart is sinking. I feel like all of this is wrong.", she opened up to her son who looked concerned,

"Do you want to cancel the nikaah?", they both shared a look, "mumma, if you feel this is wrong then let's call it off, its our own choice",

"Laibah loves him, i just pray that this ends up well", she said putting up a smile, "Allah khair kare"

Adam stood in silence. 'Allah khair kare'.

"Hey, Adiiiii", a girl greeted grabbing his hands, "Dad told me to hang around with you", she told him as he gave her a gentle smile,

Coming out of his thoughts, he tried to let go of his hands from her grip but god, she did have strength to hold him tight.

"Come on, gimme a tour of the banquet hall", she insisted with a very toothy smile,

Adam noticed the bright red color of her lips and nodded,

Roaming around the corridors, she looked at Adam the entire time while he was still concerned about Laibah.

'Why did Hussain uncle insist on getting her married? Oh god! I'm going crazy', they stood in the balcony, this was the spot from where the rose petals would be dropped as the couple enter the hall.

Suddenly Adam felt warm, he realized that the girl had wrapped him in her arms, "hey! Soha!", he said in a sharp tone releasing himself,

"Oh god! You're so shy", she giggled,
