Maybe Meant To Be

~Chapter 4~

(Y/D's POV)

I woke up on one of the medical berths and looked over to see Megatron talking with Knockout about... Probably my condition, I'm guessing. I slowly tried sitting up but also tried to be quiet, not exactly wanting to interrupt the conversation.

"Y/D!" Megatron rushed over to my side and them crouched down a little by the side of the berth. "Are you feeling alright?"
I nodded a little and he pulled me into a hug. "Good... I'm glad Soundwave was able to find you when he did..." he gave a relieved sigh and looked at you.
"What... what happened?"
Knockout started to leave the room to leave the two siblings alone.
"Well... Soundwave was searching for you as you apparently escaped his watch. He saw what happened when the two soldiers were caught taking energon cubes and then knocked you out to try and hide what they were doing. He brought you here and contacted me as soon as he found you. As for those two..." his eyes suddenly had a bit of a dark look to them. "...they were punished for their doings."

You gave Megatron a sad smile.
"I'm fine... I'm glad you're back... But... I'm sorry for making you worry... I know you were still busy and-" you were cut off with a hug.
"Don't say sorry. I don't want you to worry. It's not your fault."

Thinking about what he said, I looked to the side. He always said he didn't want me saying sorry... Always. And not only that, he's always said that it was never my fault.

~flashback~

I had been waiting for my brother to come back from his battle. I knew that he would win. He always did. I was waiting in the locker room when some other mech's came. They started teasing me and... one tried to kiss me. I didn't want him to, but he wouldn't take no for an answer. That's when, Megatron caught them. Soundwave had been following close by as well.
"What do you think you're doing?! Leave her alone!" His voice has bounced off the walls and echoed even outside of the room.
"Oh-ho-ho? The bIg ScArY bOt BoY thinks he can scare us? Why don't you make us leave her alone?"

And make them he did.

They made a mistake. A big one. But Megatron didn't want me to see. He had Soundwave take me out of the room and cover my audio receptors so I didn't hear what was happening. When it all was over, my brother came out, wiping some energon off of himself with a rag or something that Soundwave had handed him.

I thought it was his energon, so I hugged him and apologized for making him get hurt.

"Don't say sorry. And don't worry... this isn't my energon." He then made me look at him. "I don't want you say sorry for something that's not your fault."

~End of Flashback~

He has always been overprotective... but I've never once regretted or hated having him as my brother. He's always been so kind to me. Even when I felt like I was weighing him down, he always reassured me that I wasn't in his way.
Megatron then looked at me.
"You still seem worried... how about, now that I'm back, we can go on a flight if you'd like?"

I smiled and shook my head yes.
"That sounds fun."

We spent the rest of the day together, flying in the skies and doing tricks and whatever. Even Soundwave ended up coming out and joining us! I really do love my family...
