Maybe Meant To Be

~Chapter 5~

And now, for the chapter I've sorta been waiting for- It's time to meet a special someone~!

Now to figure out how to write this chapter-

(3rd POV)

Y/N was up on the flight deck, by herself. Not exactly smart seeing as how she was so set on visiting Earth. Currently though, she was debating on whether she should or shouldn't leave the ship by herself. It was already getting late, but maybe a quick flight wouldn't hurt? I mean, it's not like running away for a while or anything-

Finally, transforming into your alt. mode, you took off to the skies and headed down fast to the earth. You landed in the woods, looking up at the towering trees.
"Wowww..! The trees really are bigger than Megsy..!" You attempted to climb them, but couldn't- "Eh, let's just go explore~!"

~At a certain autobot base~

"There's an unknown signal thats just been shown... it doesn't seem to be autobot or decepticon... should we have that checked out?"
"I will go and investigate it with Bumblebee. Ratchet, open a ground bridge to the coordinates."

You were still walking through the woods for quite some time when you realized it had gotten darker. "Uh oh... I've been here longer than intended..." you started looking around, realizing you didn't even know where you were at. "Even better...! Ok Uhm... maybe I can get a hold of someone else that can send a ground bridge and help me back..!" You tried using your com link to Soundwave, but it wasn't working. Next, Megatron. But both weren't working. Now you were starting to get a little freaked out. How were you supposed to get home? You started wandering farther into the woods. You tried your alt mode, trying to fly through the trees, but the branches started leaving scratches and you just couldn't get through.

And little did you know that you were being watched. You then found a small pond and just sat besides it, now scared out of your mind. You just wanted someone to find you and take you home.

Now crying, you covered your face with your servos, too scared to walk into the woods any farther. You were too busy crying that you didn't even notice the large steps from behind you that were coming closer.

You only noticed when they were suddenly behind you and you rubbed your optics a little, looking at the pond and seeing two mech reflections behind you.

You quickly looked back at them, and when you didn't recognize them, you quickly stood up and tried stepping backwards away from them.

"Please don't hurt me..!"
The two mech's just stared at you before the taller one spoke.
"What is your designation and what are you doing here?"
"M-My name is Y/N... and I don't know how to get home..." you looked to the side and rubbed your arm nervously.
The two bots looked at each other, before looking back at you. They scanned your figure over and noticed how you didn't have either decepticon or autobot sign on you.

"Do you know where you live? Or how to get home?" The tall one again spoke.
"N-No..." you said looking back up at the two. "This is the first time I'm being out on my own..." You sorta decided to use this moment to memorize their features. Looking at the shorter one, you thought him to be a bit younger than you, that's for sure. But he seemed sorta cute and honestly? Reminded you of those black and yellow bug things you had seen on a video Soundwave once showed you.

Looking at the taller mech, you stared at his face. His eyes were such a pretty shade of blue. You could practically get lost in them- His paint was red with blue flames from what you could tell, and you wondered what kind of weird jets they changed into.

You then were pulled out of your thoughts when the tall one asked a question.
"How would you feel if you came with us to our... home? We can help you get back to your home tomorrow morning? It's getting a bit late."

You smiled and nodded.
"Like a sleepover? I've never had one before!"

The mech nodded his head and then held his hand up to his audio receptor. Probably making a call you thought.

"Ratchet, open a ground bridge. We're heading back."
The black and yellow bot started to go to green and blue swirling portal, and as you started to walk, you noticed you were low on energon.
The tall mech noticed and ended up picking you up bridal style to help you. He headed to the portal with you in his arms. The last thing you asked before heading inside the portal was what the tall mech's designation was, to which he responded with this:
"... Optimus. You can call me Optimus."
