Maybe Meant To Be

~Chapter 14~

It's been about 3 days now. I haven't gone back to that room yet because... Well... He can't remember me! How did this happen anyways?! I haven't asked Megatron about it and I'm not going to either...

What would happen if Megatron found out I knew? He'd probably be mad at me again. Maybe Knockout actually does know. Maybe I could ask him? I mean, he always enjoy sharing the Nemesis tea with me.

Walking up to the medic bay, the door slid open and out walked Optim- Orion. I quickly moved out of the way and he just stopped in front of me.

"Hello, how are you?"
It would be awkward if I didn't reply...
"I'm doing alright... ... Why were you here in the medic bay..?"
"Oh, Megatronus wanted me to get a checkup and make sure all my circuits and everything are working in good condition."

"Ah... Makes sense..." I mumbled and looked to the side, now avoiding optic contact. It felt awkward talking to Optimus now that he was... Orion. I dunno why either.
"Well, I must get back to work. I hope to see you around then?"

A simple nod was all I gave him before we parted ways.

Entering the med bay, I saw Knockout with a data pad in his servo.
"Hey KO. Whatcha up to?"
"Nothing much lovely. Just doing some extra work your brother wanted  me to do."
"So...  I saw Orion, was in here." Knockout hadn't looked at me until after I said that. "Orion, huh? So... Care to explain what happened then?"

I heard Knockout let a small sigh escape his intake and he set the data pad down.
"I'm guessing you are curious as to how he joined us here on the ship and is now being called Orion?"
"Yes... And you're like, the only person on this ship that will actually tell me the truth about things."

~After ze explanation~

"Wow. That's uh... Interesting." I said after Knockout pretty much just giving a brief explanation. He didn't tell me everything that Megatron told Optimus, but I already knew I'd find out soon enough.
"... But whatever you heard, you didn't hear it from me. Dermas sealed, understand?"

I chuckled and nodded my helm.
"Of course KO. I'm not going to let you get in trouble. Especially since I was the one who asked-" I chuckled again and then hugged Knockout. "Thanks again~!"

I then quickly exited the med bay, heading to the room where I knew the tall red and blue mech was. I don't know yet what I'm going to say or talk to him about, but I maybe I can find out some information and help him get back to his friends!

I stopped when I saw Megatron leaving the room. His gaze fell on me and he stopped.
"Where are you headed?"

Ugh... I really can't just come out and say 'yeah, I'm going to visit Optimus who we're now calling Orion- Got a problem with it brother?' I don't even know yet if he knows I know- but I mean, Starscream with his big mouth might've already told him.

"Oh, just walking around. I was actually headed to the energon storage to refuel a bit."
"Y/D. He energon storage is the opposite, way."

Scrap. He's too smart for his own good-

"O-Oh-" Frag. Why did my voice just- "I must have been in deeper thoughts than I thought." I gave him an innocent smile and turned around, now heading the other way.

"You know, don't you?"

I stopped in my tracks and looked back at him. If he finds out now, I'll never be able to help Optimus.
"Know what?"
"Y/D. I know you know."
"Dear brother of mine," I turned so I fully faced Megatron,"what exactly am I supposed to know?"

(Megatron's POV)

I thought she would quickly give in and just tell me, but she's just not telling. Starscream already told me about her little run in with Optimus.
"Oh wait, I think I know what you're talking about. The energon sweets? I know we now have candy~! Which is exactly why I was just heading to the storage. Especially before you ration them out to the others!" Y/D chuckled and turned again, starting to leave. "Wanna come?"

"I... Sure." I ended up joining my sister in the energon storage and having the sweet treats with her.

(Y/D's POV)

Phew... That was close... I'll have to go and visit Optimus later... And I need to remember to call him Orion so I don't further confuse him... I'll explose the truth to him soon... But just not yet.

Ok so like, I forget, that instead of names, Cybertronians got designations- So like, I went through all the chapters and changed Y/N to Y/D. And I mean, ofc u can still use your own name if you'd like. But you could also have your own designation. I hope you're enjoying the story and are having a good day/evening.
