Maybe Meant To Be

~Chapter 8~

I woke up in my own berth. Sitting up, I looked around to see my flower wreaths sitting on a box that acted as a dresser for me.
"So it wasn't a dream..?" I smiled to myself and climbed out of my bed, stretching some. "But how did I get back here then...?" I looked over at my door to see Megatron walk through.
"Y/D..." He had an expression that would be unreadable to most, but I could tell exactly how he was feeling. He was annoyed. "Didn't you remember that it's dangerous for you to be alone on Earth?"

I sighed and asked with a quiet "yes".
"But I wasn't alone Megs..! I was with Optimus-"
"And you shouldn't be! He is a dangerous mech Y/D. I don't want to see you get hurt." He walked over to me and placed a servo on my shoulder. "Please. I mean it. I don't want you getting hurt..."
I looked at him and nodded, saying nothing.

"Thank you." He gave me a small hug and then started to leave the room. "I have some business to attend to, so I'll see you later." He exited, but then stuck his head back in. "Also, I already told Soundwave to watch you. Make sure to listen to him... shorty." He then left without another word.
"Hmph... He must be crazy... Optimus is really nice. He hasn't caused me any harm..." I sighed and walked out of the room, only to be met face to face with Soundwave. "Oh- Hey Soundy- Uh... you didn't hear that just now, did you-?"

Soundwave just gave me a small nod, and continued to, well, I assume he was staring at me-
"Look, Uhm... please just keep this between us- I'm not going to go against what Megatron said I just... wish he would tell me more." I said with a sigh.
Another nod.
"Thanks... now uh... let's go uh... do something-" I said awkwardly and sped walked away.
{I don't get why they don't tell me things... but one thing is for sure... I'll prove that Optimus means no harm. His friends were nice to me too..! I'll be fine... I can take care of myself.}

I ended up sneaking back out of the ship, going to a new location I'd never been. I was excited to explore, and maybe- just maybe- I could find and see Optimus! I'd already beat myself up about not getting his comm link so we could talk. But then again, might get in trouble with Megsy if he found out. And I really don't want HIM to be my bodyguard- Megatron would be REALLY strict, and then I definitely wouldn't be able to get out again.

(3rd POV)

While you were exploring Earth's nature around you, you failed to notice where exactly you were now. You had now entered a cave. But not just any cave. Inside, were the Cons. Y'know, your brother and his army pretty much? They were in an energon mine, and you were about to see what Megatron's "missions", were all about. And of course, you also didn't know that the bots, including one of your new fav mech's, was also here. Getting ready to raid the mine from the cons so that they could get the energon they needed.

You walked further down the tunnel, when you suddenly heard cannons firing.
"What is that?" You soon dove behind a rock, and peeking out, you could see your brother firing at the bots. "What are they doing?!" You couldn't hear anything they were saying, due to he different shots being fired.

~Over with Megsy and Oppy~

"This is for even thinking about being with my sister!" Megatron roared and attacked Optimus again. "I told you to stay away, and yet, you didn't listen! You're a danger to her, and I want you to keep your optics off of her!"
"A danger? At least I haven't spoken lies to the femme!"
"Those lies are to protect her! I won't have her get involved with something that could potentially hurt her!"

~Back with You~

"I've gotta stop them!" You said and then ran over, getting right in the middle of the two mech's. "Megatron, stop!" The two stopped and the cons and bots did also, seeing you suddenly there.
"Y/D?! What are you doing here?! Why aren't you back on the ship?!"
"More like, why are you two fighting?!"
"Y/D. This doesn't concern you." He commed Soundwave for a ground bridge, but when it came, you refused to go through.
"No. I'm not going. I want to know what you're doing! What? You can't tell me? Do you not... do you not trust me?" You stared at Megatron and tried to get your voice not to crack.
"What?! That's outrageous! I don't not trust you! I just want you to stay safe! Now go through that ground bridge right this instant!"
"..."
"Y/D. Now."
"Fine. But I want to know. And I want you guys to all come back with me too. I want an explanation right now, and none of you are staying here to fight and get hurt." You walked through and Megatron groaned calling the troops to leave the energon and go. He walked through said ground bridge as well, leaving Optimus and the other autobots to wonder what just happened.

Oh, but at least they got some well needed energon~!
