A/N: This book will have two POVs (but it will be all written in 3rd person) and they will change with (probably) every chapter. Now let's get this thing started - I have a lot to edit in my draft of this part...

RRRIIIIIIIIIINGGGG!!!!
Yeonjun's horribly annoying and loud alarm went off. It startled the boy and he rolled over in his bed to turn it off quickly, but he didn't realize that he was laying on the edge of the bed and that movement alone made him fall off, hitting the floor with his back. He gasped as the contact pressed the air out of his lungs.
RRRRIIIING!! RRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIINGGGGGGGG!!
The alarm just wouldn't shut up, but Yeonjun had no energy to move. For a few more seconds he continued laying on his back, staring at the ceiling and listening to the constant rings of his phone. Then he realized that he is probably going to wake the whole house up, so he rolled over and tried to get up to shut the alarm. He reached out for his phone, accidentally knocking it off the bedside table. He groaned and finally pressed the button and the noise stopped.
Yeonjun sat up on the floor and sighed, the ringing of the alarm still echoing in his ears in the silence of the room. It's the same thing every single morning. Getting up at asscrack hour of dawn, doing chores, preparing breakfast, going to school and trying to avoid his so-called "family".
What a mess his life had become.
He stood up supporting himself on the bed and yawned, stretching his back before beginning his morning routine. He quickly made his bed, then went to the wardrobe where he picked out a simple white hoodie with black skinny jeans. He changed into his fresh clothes, making a mental note to make some time to do his laundry in the afternoon, then sat down to his desk in front of his small mirror to brush his dark hair and put on a slight makeup. He wanted to smile at his reflection, but he only grimaced slightly before standing up again and grabbing his backpack, checking whether he has everything he needs for school, even though it was barely 6 am. He knew he has a lot to do before leaving and since his bedroom was in the attic of the huge house they lived in, he didn't feel like climbing the stairs every morning to get his stuff, so he always made sure to have everything he needs before leaving the room.
Yeonjun used to have quite a chill life with his widowed father until a few years ago, when his father met his stepmother. They got married soon after and moved in together in a big house in a city away from their old home. Then it was the five of them: Yeonjun, his Dad, his stepmom and her two sons, Yeonjun's new stepbrothers, San and Wooyoung. Yeonjun found his new stepmother rather annoying, and his stepbrothers were the whiniest people he had ever met in his life, but he decided to keep quiet about that for his Dad's sake. He hoped they will get along in the future.
Because of the moving, Yeonjun also transferred schools and now he went to the same college as Wooyoung and San. Transferring didn't bother him that much since he had always been the random kid in the back of the classroom who no one noticed. It was the same for him this time too. Even though he was a good-looking boy and a lot of people turned after him on his first days, they soon realized that he is rather timid and quiet and left him alone.
He only managed to make one friend, and that was rather because of the fact that an annoying and very talkative freshman (who was by now a sophomore) decided to befriend him and he kept following him everywhere he went. By now Yeonjun was used to that and he even grew to like his new friend. But we'll get back to that later.
Now back to his life story. He somehow managed to live quite an okay life with his new family. But all good things come to an end and Yeonjun's father got in a car accident a year ago. He was in coma for several months, but the doctors couldn't save him and he passed away.
