A/N: I'm playing time traveller atm as I'm writing this last night because I'm meeting up with my cousin today and for some reason he thinks it's a good idea to go out at asscrack hour of dawn... technically at 9 am but in a college student's life on a weekend 9 am is basically dawn. So here I am writing and scheduling this at night.

.

Yeonjun rushed inside the school building completely out of breath. He supported himself on his knees with his hands and checked his watch. He was surprised to see that he even managed to arrive a few minutes before his first class. He was pretty sure his stepmother only made him stay for an extra long lesson about being nice to his stepbrothers just so that he will be late. But he made it!

He wiped his face with his hands and began walking towards the stairs to go to the classroom. He reached the first floor and opened the door that led to the hallway from the stairway, then turned the corner. He suddenly felt himself bump into someone and he dropped the book he was holding.

'Watch where you're going' growled the student. Yeonjun avoided the person's eyes, but obviously he recognized his stepbrother's voice. Wooyoung and his group of friends snickered and walked past him, some of them even stepping on the book Yeonjun dropped as if it wasn't even there. Yeonjun just gritted his teeth and didn't say a thing.

He picked up his book and was about to continue walking towards his class when he heard loud talking and laughter from behind and he just had to turn around out of curiosity. He scoffed at what he witnessed. Wooyoung's group just had to run into a few members of the basketball team and Yeonjun would've sworn his stepbrother became a whole new person as he began flirting with the team's center, Choi Soobin.

The funniest part was rather the fact that Soobin seemingly wasn't interested at all. He was never interested, to Yeonjun it seemed like the younger boy was immune to everyone's flirting and he really respected that, especially seeing how many admirers Soobin had all the time. But for some reason rather than escaping the situation, Soobin stayed there and acted nice and polite, staying there with his friends and chattering.

Yeonjun let out a small sigh watching them interact, admiring the way Soobin acted. He was always so nice... and handsome... Yeonjun just wanted to run his fingers through his fluffy blonde hair... for scientific purposes of course.

He gasped when he realized that he was staring. What is he even thinking? He is not into Choi Soobin. And even if he were, the popular kid and the loser can only get together in fairy tales, movies and Wattpad fanfictions. His small crush on the other was rather platonic anyways as he didn't really care about relationships and love. He had just enough problems in his life. He hugged his book to his chest tighter and turned around-

'Where were you?'

Yeonjun almost screamed, startled by his best friend's sudden appearance. Well, it wasn't that sudden since he was probably standing on the hallway, he just didn't realize he was there.

'Holy fuck!' he cursed and put his hand on his heart that was about to jump out of his chest. 'You scared the living shit out of me!'

'Your fault for being so absent. I see you're spying on Wooyoung being fake again' added the younger peeking over Yeonjun's shoulder. Yeonjun just grabbed his friend's arm and pulled him with himself, thankful that nobody knows what was going on in his head just a minute ago. He already wanted to disappear just from the thought of anyone finding out that he was daydreaming about Soobin.

'Wooyoung is your hyung' he warned his friend instead. The other narrowed his eyes.

'He is not my hyung because he is a bitch.'
