A/N: We are in a Cinderella story so let's not even question how come they don't recognize each other okay? Let's just say they are stupid as fuck~~~ or whatever lol
.
Yeonjun was completely taken aback at first when a mysterious male approached him almost as soon as he arrived to the party. He lost sight of Beomgyu basically in the doorway and has been trying to find him while ignoring the stares of the students around him. Is he looking that bad? Maybe he shouldn't have listened to Beomgyu. He knew the younger was biased when he said he looks gorgeous-
That was the moment when he felt the light touch on his hand and turned around swiftly, only to be face-to-face with a gorgeous human being.
He had no idea who could be behind the mask. At school he only ever communicated with Beomgyu unless he was forced by the teachers to work in groups or partners. He was also surprised by the sudden encounter because he was never really the center of attention. People usually avoided him or acted like he is not even there. He was the loser in the back of the classroom and the invisible kid everyone trips over in the hallway because they don't realize he is there.
The boy he ended up dancing with on the other hand seemed like the type of person who knows what he is doing. Even though he was a bit shy, he even flirted with Yeonjun, not to mention the fact that he asked him for a dance as soon as he entered the ballroom.
He couldn't see properly, not recognize the face behind the mask, but what he could already tell was that he was... like McDonald's fries. Tall, blonde and gorgeous. Which didn't really help on Yeonjun's situation. He wasn't used to flirting on the dance floor with handsome mysterious men. In fact, he had never in his life flirted before, never slow danced before and didn't engage in encounters with handsome mysterious men. But he thought of what Beomgyu would say and he would probably kick his ass if he escaped from a situation like this so he decided to just go with the flow just this once.
Suddenly his partner leaned closer and whispered into his ear. 'Let's get out of here' he said quietly. Yeonjun looked at him questioningly.
'Why?'
'Because people are staring...' said the other. Yeonjun tore his eyes away from his gorgeous partner and glanced around in the room. It was true, many people were just standing aside, watching them dance. His partner grabbed his hand and pulled him towards the tables where the cakes and pastries were, randomly picking up two plates with a slice of cake on each and they sneaked out through the side door of the gym.
'Sorry if this was random' chuckled the other boy quietly. 'I just... don't really like attention' he admitted.
'I second that' sighed Yeonjun as he looked around. There were only a few people in the school's backyard that was also decorated for the party: fairy lights decorated the trees and someone even threw a garland on the basketball hoop. 'I'd rather stay... in the shadow, you know' he added, hoping that the other won't find him too plain.
'Well... that didn't exactly work tonight' said the boy looking at Yeonjun.
'What do you mean?'
'You were the most gorgeous person out there' said the other shamelessly, making Yeonjun blush for what felt like the millionth time in the past 10 minutes. Their eyes met again.
'So...' began the boy. 'Strawberry cake or chocolate cake?' he held up the two plates with a small smile that resembled to a bunny. Yeonjun couldn't help but smile too.
'Chocolate.'
.
'Okay, my turn. Who's your bias in BTS?'
