Edward left Bella pregnant

Chapter 54

Bella's POV:

I looked at Edward to see he looked very confused and I sighed. "Our children have very special powers." I say softly and pause before I go on, "It's a little hard to describe what they can do but I'll try my best... Renesseme here can show people things, even if she's not thinking that she wants to she can, Ally-Rose can make someone's ability stronger and even learn them for herself if she wishes though she can only make someone stronger if she's touching them so far, While E.J. can project what someone he is touching or his own thoughts or link peoples thoughts to each others." I said as I looked at each of our children and ran my fingers through their hair each in turn as I spoke of their powers with a soft look on my face while he simply smiled, "So that's how you knew she was awake." He said simply as I nodded and started to think of all of the times each of their powers were useful. "That's a lot of times they were useful." He said with a slight smile making me give him a confused look. "Didn't you just drop your shield to show me those." He asked confused as I shook my head no.

Scared I jumped out of bed and ran out the door and down the hallway and down a few flight of stairs until I reached the doors that lead to the throne room and gave a gentle push and watched in wide eyed shock that the door that normally would open from just a flick from me didn't move at all, I could hear that Edward and the triplets were only a yard or two away and I knew that Edward had seen my failed attempt to open the door, 'he's not going to want me to do this' I thought to myself forgetting for a moment that I had no shield at the moment and heard his steps coming faster and I pushed as hard as I could and inside I found Aro, Marcus, and Caius sitting in their seats talking, "Ah Bella, what a surprise!" Aro said happily with a smile until he saw my face, "What is wrong child?" He asked worriedly. "Jane, where is Jane?" I asked right as Jane walked into the room. "Jane, use your powers on me, I need to see something." I said simply as Edward ran into the room screaming, "No." as he tried to reach me but before he could reach me I was already screaming as my back arched, I hadn't ever felt anything like this in a long time as the flames spread under my skin burning every inch of me down to my soul, it was like being turned all over again, soon I couldn't hear or feel anything but the burning, and then it was gone and I laid on the floor gasping for air as Edward slid me onto his lap and the triplets gathered around. 

After a moment Aro walked to me where I still laid in Edward's lap on my back and looked down at me with a fatherly look on his face, "Why didn't you shield yourself child?" He asked softly. "I tried." I replied softly as I raised my hand for him to take knowing that he would see and hear every moment of my life for the first time. As our hands met he closed his eyes and bent his head over our hands, after a few moments he raised his head and sighed, "I see." As he walked away and sat in his throne I watched him as I got up slowly with Edward's help, feeling shaky for the first time in years. "Demetri, Felix, is the room ready?" He asked as I noticed for the first time that Demetri and Felix were standing against the walls behind the throns and now walked forward, "Yes, master it is." Said Felix simply. "Very good." Aro replied before looking at me and saying, "Bella, Heidi will be here soon why don't you go rest for a bit before she comes home." Aro said softly as I nodded and turned to leave as Edward and the triplets followed behind me.
