Edward's POV:
I was in a room with a large one way mirror looking into a room where an old man was walking around his room when there was a knock at his door as Carlisle walked in and sat beside me. While he opened the door I saw it was Bella standing in the door. I listened as she walked around his room 'what the hell is she doing?' I couldn't help myself asking as I slid into her mind and found she was trying to keep her mind off of blood. 'Why am I even here, so what Bella works.' I asked myself and then it hit me. "This is feeding time." I said softly with a gasp as the thought of watching her drain him disturbed me yet made my throat burn with thirst. "You would be right." Whispered Carlisle as he bowed his head slightly. "I'm not sure if I can watch this." I said softly and swallowed. "It's best to try." He said as I heard Bella say. "I want your blood." Making me look up and I found I couldn't take my eyes off her.
Once Bella was I watched in amazement as she started to fill in soon I could no longer see the bones in her face. For just a moment I saw that her eyes were red that is until she closed them seeming to take a deep breath before she fell to the floor gagging and throwing up blood.
I couldn't take my eyes off her as her face sunk in again and I knew if under her shirt hid the fact that you would be able to count every rib bone she had. "Lock the triplets into their rooms, they don't need to see this." Carlisle said softly as Demetri and Felix left the room. It wasn't long until I could hear the triplets cries for their mothers and their fists and nails against the doors. "Edward, I need you." Carlisle said as he laid a hand on my shoulder and shook me gently making me blink and get up and run into the room Bella was now simply laying in.
We rushed in to find Bella looking up at us. "I can't move my left arm." She said simply sounding sad.
