𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐞

When we got there, the party was in full swing. The fire was huge and there were people everywhere. Everyone was there. Kooks and Pogues alike. I took a breath as I stepped out of the van and realized how many people were actually here. My first party back on the island and I was a little nervous.

John B threw his arm around my shoulders and smiled down at me, "C'mon Lou." We navigated our way through the crowd of people, each receiving a beer and losing Pope and Kiara to the crowd.

It was so hard to hangout with John B tonight. He was being very clingy, and he was upset about Sarah. JJ and I were trying to help, but it was obvious he didn't want any. "It's honestly just going to take time for her to come back around. But she will-"

"Shot gun, right now." JJ demanded as he handed beers to the both of us. Instead of me getting to drink mine, an empty can flew in my direction and landed on my shoes. Thankfully I was wearing an old pair. "There she is." JJ said with a smirk causing me to look at who exactly 'she' was. I raised my brow as she made her way over to us. "That's you. We're out of here." He said pushing John B in her direction and pulling me in the opposite direction of them.

I giggled the whole time until we found our own empty space to fill.

"Alright. Let's go Maybank." I challenged him to a shot gun since we didn't really get to do one. I, of course, finished before him.

"I'm never doing that again with you." I laughed as I scanned over the party. I checked on John B and the girl before looking above the fire on the higher area to see Sarah with Topper. Kie nudged me as she joined JJ and I. I'm guessing she saw what I did.

As the night went on, the drinks started flowing. I was never one to let completely loose at a function of this size, but I felt like I needed to.

"Dance?" I asked Kiara who led the way to where everyone else was dancing. We spun each other around for a bit before we noticed a commotion by John B. When we finally tuned in, we realized it was Sarah and made our way over. By the time we made it over there, Topper had joined too.

Topper and the girl got into a loud argument. I tried to step in as things got physical and tried to push him away from Topper to avoid a fight, but I was only making things worse.

Sarah yelled at John B, "Just get out! Just go!"

John B yelled back at Topper, "Get out of here Topper!" Topper was instigating and it was pissing me off. Then Kelce stepped in and that's when fists started to fly. Kelce said a few choice words to John B, earning a punch that started a brawl. Topper went after John B and began fighting which caused every Kook and Pogue to start on one another.

As the fighting continued, I tried to get to Sarah who was lost in the sea of people that gathered around to see Topper and John B fight. I watched the girl who had been flirting with John B push Sarah off the platform and pushed my way through. I said, "Move bitch." As I pushed her away from Sarah.

"What's your problem?" she asked as we checked on Sarah. "Who's side are you on?" She continued.

"She's our friend." I defended her as Kiara helped Sarah up. I wasn't afraid of fighting if that's what she wanted to do. As soon as she raised her fists, I let a punch go and hit her straight on her chin. I didn't really think of anything else as we continued to hit each other. She kept going for my hair, but it wasn't working out for her.

Then I heard Kie and I was being pulled off of the girl and being pushed toward the twinkie. When I was away from the fighting, I looked at JJ. He'd been the one to pull me off the girl. I watched as he looked me over to see what damage had been done and gave me a small smile, "My little brawler." He said as he helped me in the van.
