Dylan clenched his jaw and brushed the hair from her face.

"Come on, I wanna take you somewhere." He said.

"Where?"

"It's a surprise." He smiled.

Hannah thought for a moment.

"Come on. You could use a distraction." He said holding out his hand.

"Ok." She said, taking his hand as they headed for Dylan's truck.

"Are you gonna tell me where we are going?" Hannah asked, climbing inside.

"Nope." Dylan said grinning.

"Why not?"

"Because it's more fun that way." He teased, pulling out of the driveway.

Hannah frowned and crossed her arms across her chest, poking out her bottom lip.

"Oh come on." Dylan smiled.

Hannah ignored him.

"I told you it's a surprise."

"Hm." she continued to pout.

"Don't be like that Hanny." Dylan said with a grin as he turned into the highway.

"You're the keeping secrets." She continued to pout.

Dylan shook his head and smiled. "What do I get if I tell you?"

Hannah smirked. "Tell me and you'll find out."

"Fine we are going to-"

"The hideaway!" Hannah shouted as the dance hall came into view.

"Oh my God it's been forever since we've been here." Hannah shrieked.

"I knew you'd be surprised." Dylan laughed.

Dylan pulled into a parking spot and turned off the engine. Hannah jumped out of the truck and ran to the front door.

"Come on grampa." She teased.

Dylan loved how giddy she was over being back at their old hang out spot as teenagers. Country music blared as they entered the building.

"This way." He said, grabbing her hand and leading her to a seat at the bar.

"Hey Burt." Hannah smiled.

"Well look who it is. I haven't seen you kids around in years." Burt smiled back.

"And I see you're still hanging around with likes of this one." He teased, pointing to Dylan.

They all laughed.

"How's it been old man?" Dylan asked, shaking the bartender's hand.

"Peaceful since you haven't been here to cause a ruckus." He teased.

"Well I'm here now so don't you worry." Dylan teased back.

"What's it gonna be?" Burt asked.

"I need a shot of whiskey after the day I've had." Hannah replied.

"Make that two." Dylan said.

Burt nodded and grabbed two shot glasses setting them down in front of them. He opened a bottle of whiskey and poured them each a shot. Hannah picked up the glass.

"Cheers." She said and threw back the whiskey and making a face

Dylan laughed and swallowed back his shot.

"I'll take another please." She said.

Burt obliged. And Hannah threw back another drink.

"Wanna dance?" Hannah looked over to see a handsome man standing beside her.
