> Mingyu <

After an hour of twisting and turning in my bed trying to fall asleep, I get up to take a shower, it should relax me enough to make me sleepy since it's already past twelve.

As the water falls on me and fills me with warmth I hear my stomach growl, I guess that kimpap and sandwich weren't enough for dinner.

I head to the kitchen without any clothes on, only a towel wrapped around my waist. Nobody should be awake, Jeonghan went in his room even before we came back and Wonwoo too should be asleep.

I sit at the kitchen table, contemplating what to eat. I could prepare some instant ramyeon but I've already eaten convenience-store food for dinner I should choose something healthier as a midnight snack.

I suddenly hear a door opening. I should have been quiter while washing up. Only the light under the kitchen illuminates the space, not making it very bright, so I hope no one sees me seeing as I'm sitting here practically naked.

However, my hopes get crushed the moment Wonwoo walks into the kitchen, wearing red and blue checkered pajama and a dark blue top. He silently looks me up and down and I raise my eyebrow questioningly.

"You should be more careful, Jeonghan is a light sleeper"

"I know" I reply. Silence fills the space between the two of them and Mingyu just now realizes how unusual it is for them to be in the kitchen together at this hour.

"Did I wake you up?" I ask him. Unsure if I should apologize or not. He slightly shakes his head coming towards me.

"No, I was just about to go to sleep." He's now leaning against the counter of the kitchen a couple of meters away from me, taking a bite off a green apple. Keeping my hands down and trying to hold onto my towel, afraid of it falling and revealing my most prized jewels, I get up to take a banana instead, I can't eat apples on an empty stomach.

"Why are you taking showers in the middle of the night?" Wonwoo eyes me suspiciously. Giving me a sharp look.

"I couldn't sleep" I'm still wide awake actually, I don't understand why, I don't usually have problems falling asleep.

Wonwoo hums. Why does it always has to be this awkward? We can't have a normal conversation without it making me uncomfortable. Now we're both standing, him where he was before, and me near the sink taking a glass of water, three steps away from him.

His eyes faintly travel to my chest, making me feel incredibly exposed, and wondering if I spilled some of the water I was drinking.

"Do you want to rehearse our lines for tomorrow?" He speaks. Well, I might actually spit the liquid , but I'm not that dramatic so I just look at him with wide eyes. Him offering to go over our parts? I think the late hour is making me hallucinate.

"Well?" He repeats himself, expecting an answer from me.

"Sure" I say coolly, trying to be subtle about my eagerness.

Wonwoo heads to his room to take the script, I wait in the kitchen. He comes back with a pair of pants and a t-shirt in his hands.

"Here" He throws them to me, I manage to catch the pants in time but the shirt falls on the ground.

"Thanks. I'm sorry I made you uncomfortable" I say as he turns around for me to put it on.

"You didn't, it's just ... I thought you were cold" I hum. I wasn't cold, the apartment is well heated, but it felt nice to think he cares even a little bit. I have to be careful or I might start thinking he has already forgiven me.
