I put my phone on of the shelves inside of the bathroom as I take out what I need to shave my face.

"So at what time are you going to come back?" My father's voice comes through the phone as I wash my face with warm water.

"Probably late since-"

"Oh!" I hear my father exclaim.

"Is everything okay?" My head jerks up to look at him, but I only see him wide-eyed.

"Yeah yeah, I just heard that the Ceo of Kang enterprises has passed away, I always knew that he wouldn't last long after what happened with his daughter" He sighs.

"Dad don't say that" I roll my eyes, shaking my head.

"You're right that was insensitive, what were you saying?"

"I was just saying that I'm gonna be late since we're having dinner after" He hums and after a few seconds he speaks again.

"So is it open to the public?"

"Nope" I say, feeling sorry that he can't come to the screening of our last episode. "There will be us actors, our directors and producers, the fans that won the invitation and some other people"

"Oh, I'll watch it from here then" He says disappointed, although I had already told him not to get his hopes up about it.

"Let me know if you like it"

"I am going to like it no matter what, as long as Mingyu is in it..." He laughs at his own joke and I look at him enjoy himself, happy to hear his laughter. I've been in touch with him a lot since mom's passing, we call each other every two days, he tells me about his day and I tell him about mine.

Turns out everything I knew about my dad in these past 25 years is not even the half of it and lately he's been telling me about the plants he's growing at home. I know it's still difficult for him without mom since they've been together for most of their lives but it's nice seeing him positive and passionate about a new hobby.

"Dad, Mingyu's calling me I'll call you tomorrow" I tell him as my phone vibrates.

"Okay, take care son"

"You too" I smile before hanging up and answering the phonecall. "Yeah?"

"Can you ask the others for a lift to the theatre?"

"Oh yeah sure, is everything okay?" I ask confused.

"Yes, I just need to speak with my manager before going" I nod even though he can't see.

"I'll see you there" He says when I don't react to his words.

"Yes... stay safe" I say before hanging up the call. Maybe I shouldn't have said 'stay safe', it's usually what a mother would say to her son and I'm clearly not his mom.

I shake my head before rinsing everything off and changing my clothes.

"I can't believe it's already the 21st of may, these months have gone by so quickly" Dk says as we're driving in the car.

"It was fun filming together again" I say looking at them and they smile nodding.
