I watch Wonwoo as he finishes his crackers while he's talking to one of the make-up artists.
Being back to working with Wonwoo is both a relief and a complication. Since I worked last week, I never thought I would miss acting besides Wonwoo, now it's less lonely and monotonous. We haven't interacted outside of what interested the drama but still, having him close makes work lighter.
The problem is that he seems to have adjusted pretty quickly, and even if it might be good it doesn't feel good. He acts like nothing ever happened, when the others gave him their condolences he didn't give them much consideration, other than what was necessary, and he didn't eat much for lunch because he wanted to continue rehearsing. He seems fine, but I know it's hard for him, I can tell, even though I can't read his mind he seems sort of... disconnected.
But that might be just my impression.
"Are you done?" I hear the director's voice from across the room. He seems to have gotten up on the wrong foot this morning but he's still trying to act sensitively, especially in front of Wonwoo.
"Since on saturday you have your first fan meeting, make sure to not make any spoilers apart from the one we tell you" Mr. Park instructs us. I look at Wonwoo, who, just like me, seems to have forgotten that the meeting was this week, and I smile feeling relieved to not be the only one. "We'll talk about it more in 30 minutes" He looks at us and then at Jeonghan and Seokmin, who will be attending as well, and walks away.
We resume shooting before the director has the chance to talk to us and it's a scene with Wonwoo and Dk. Now that the two protagonists are together it's easier to portray their feelings, they have to keep it a secret but that makes it more fun and thrilling.
"Okay cut! Wonwoo you're supposed to look more sneaky, and Mingyu sound more affectionate, Minjun has a very clingy personality" My partner nods and positions himself from where he's supposed to walk towards the car I'm sitting in. I see Dk close behind him from where he's 'following' him and I struggle to keep a straight face because of the way he carries himself.
"Action!"
"Of course I'm still playing in the football team, we even got a match this weekend" I say as Wonwoo gets in the car, a little smile playing on his lips as he turns his head to 'check' that there's no one, since the characters have to keep their relationship a secret.
"I'll talk to you later dad, the coach is calling" I close the call and go to kiss Wonwoo's cheek but he stops me.
"Someone might see!" He tells me wide-eyed, looking around the parking lot.
"No one will see" I scrunch my eyebrows pouting when an idea comes to my mind. I take his hand and kiss the top of it, he visibly flinches and freezes taken aback. I continue to trail swift kisses on his arm until I reach his shoulder, and taking a last look at his flustered face I give a peck on his red neck.
"Min-" He says while bending his neck to keep me away and I glance at him almost pronouncing my name. "-jun!" He raises his voice, which becomes playful.
"What did you tell your friends?" I ask while still leaning on him.
"That I have dinner with my parents" I smile at the way he's quickly regaining composure and he puts his hand on my chest making me go back to my seat. "You?"
"The same as you"
"So where should we go?" Wonwoo says, looking a bit worried.
"Don't worry, I know the perfect place for us" I look at his cute expression and smile at him.
