Are You Bored? Well Here's The Solution! (maybe...)

Hi hi :)

Whenever someone says they're bored or asks me what to do I'm usually like "good for you" or "idk what to tell you" but now I have something to tell them!

Or if you're ever bored you can do this too :)

Every so often I remember a couple things:

1. I listen to a lot of music
2. I was born in 2001
3. I listen to music from so many time periods (ex. 2004, 2007, etc.)

So I go to trusty old YouTube and search: 'Top 100 Songs Of [insert year here]'

Grab a notebook or piece of paper, a pencil or pen (preferably a pencil in case you need to erase) and as much time as you need/want/have/prefer/whatever else.

On the paper you write down the year of songs you picked (I usually start with the year I was born) and they put down a tally mark on the next line every time they play a song you know/listen to.

Then from there you can forward in time up to 2014 (since there isn't really many songs for 2015 yet), or back in time to see how many songs you know that were popular before you were born.

And when/if you finish all the years you wanted, you can see when you really started getting into music. I personally started really listening to music in 2006, when I was five.

Five!

I didn't even remember listening to music when I was that age!

Ya see? You learn new things everyday.

You can also (possibly) find out what music artist you listened to first. Like, for example, the first two people I listened to were Avril Lavigne and Gwen Stefani. And it's so cool to me because I still listen to them today.

Anyway, I hope this helps you if you're bored, or if you want to reminisce on what your music taste was like a couple years ago and see how it's changed or stayed the same.

Bye :)
