Y/N's POV:

The journey seems longer than it had the first time I got here but I didn't mind because my freedom is more important. I run and run, far away from my kidnapper's lair, situated in the outskirts of Seoul.

As expected, there would be no one around, for me to ask for help. Although, that doesn't stop me from escaping. I had managed to get away from the one guarding me in that cold and dark room. This gave me more energy to run because if they caught me now, they would never let me go.

And God, do I want to find out what they'd do to me if they do catch me? No thank you, I value my life and chastity.

These people would surely ruin me.

My father was to blame, to begin with. He had made me enter this mess with his illegal line of drug dealing. Now a gang was looking for him because they wanted to steal his drugs worth five billion won.

My father had successfully managed to hide himself and the drugs but unfortunately failed to protect his one and only child. The heir to his illicit wealth. Me.

A few years ago, I had no idea about all of this, but suddenly my father decided to confide in me last year—incase anything were to happen to him. I mean, I had to know. I didn't judge his job. Heck, I couldn't even care, because it was the only thing that kept my father going after my mom died, five years ago.

I told him that I'd stay far away from his work but if need be, I'd help because I was his only family.

Just before I could start helping, the Racho Gang sort my father and his drugs. To take them. When he retaliated, they tried to steal it instead. And when they couldn't, they took other measures.

Kidnap me and threaten him.

I don't know if threatening him worked because I wasn't saved as yet. Seeing how I have been kidnapped for a while now. Five days to be exact.

"Hey! She's over there!" Someone screams from behind me.

I lightly curse and increase my speed. My legs are on fire now and my dress makes it harder for me to run, but I ignore it.

Survive, Y/N. You have to. I tell myself what I've been saying time and again.

I'm on a road now and I don't mind because there are no vehicles. Until the headlights of a car shine in my direction. Did I mention it's late in the night?

I keep on running because I can feel that my kidnappers are closer than ever now. The headlights overtake my vision as the car and my body collide together.

Not really, because I don't get knocked regardless. The car stops right in front of my feet and my upper body leans forward on the hood. I can't see the driver as yet because of the heavily tinted windscreen and they don't bother to come outside either.

I run towards the driver's window and I start to bang it out of desperation. "Please help me! There are some goons after me!"

The driver doesn't budge, making me wish I wasn't in a fatal situation right now. Otherwise I'd have punctured his tires. How dare he ignore a girl in distress? He or she? Whoever is behind the wheel.

I knock harder this time, not caring that my hands are slowly starting to get bruised because of it. The kidnappers are closer. So close that I can see them now. With the help of the headlights, I can see five to six burly men approach me.
