Settling in || 06

Once all the introductions were done we began moving my stuff into the house and upstairs to an empty room they used for storage. It was a decent sized room, bigger than the room I had back at my old apartment. There was one window on the wall facing the door. We had moved in everything I packed. My pc was set up in a corner and I had begun decorating the room. Once we were done I stood in the room alone and sighed. This is where my new life was going to start.

As I was admiring the room I paused. Where was my bed?

I started walking through the hallway trying to find Nick's room. Each guy had their door closed so that didn't help. Taking my chances I knocked on one of the doors.

"Come in!" A voice yelled.

Of course the first room I go to is Blake's. Taking a deep breath I opened the door and walked in.

I immediately noticed the comforting atmosphere. He had no widows which caused the room to be dark. I looked around at what he had hanging on his walls before looking over at him. He was seated at his desk and on his computer. Biting my lip I wondered if I would be able to leave without him noticing.

Never mind. Blake looked over his shoulder surprised to see me. He spun in his chair and faced me.

"(Y/n)? What's up?"

I closed my eyes briefly and walked further into his room.

"Um, I'm actually looking for Nick. He said you guys had a bed for me but it's not in my room."

Blake looked at me confused and shook his head. "Nick is such an idiot. We did have an extra mattress and bed frame but we gave it away."

I frowned. "Seriously?"

He nodded and stood up. He moved towards me and I swear I felt butterflies. He was a couple inches away when he replied.

"Yeah, it just took up space and we didn't need it. Maybe we could go get you a new one today."

He then started to leave the room but he paused and looked at me. "You know what, we can do that later. Sit down I have some questions."

I raised an eyebrow at him which caused him to laugh. Blake grabbed my shoulders to spin me around and nudge me towards his bed. I blushed and sat down as he sat in his gaming chair.

"What questions do you have?"

It was quiet for a bit as Blake stared off at the wall behind me, thinking. My knee started to bounce as I looked at him anxiously. I didn't like him anymore so why was I still feeling this way around him.

"How have you been?"

He asked now looking at me and keeping eye contact. I blinked at the question.

"I've been better." I answered truthfully with a small smile. His eyes narrowed slightly but he nodded and asked another question.

"How's Tux? What have you two been up to since the house disbanded."

I paused thinking of an answer.

"He's alright. He has a girlfriend apparently-"

Blake jumped up in his seat with wide eyes. "Tux has a girlfriend?!? No way you're lying."

I couldn't help but start laughing. When Nonsense was a group still, one of their go to jokes was about how Kaden couldn't pull any girl. "That's what he says, I haven't met her personally so who knows if he's lying."

This caused Blake to laugh as well.

"Oh (Y/n)! There you are, I've been looking everywhere for you."

Nick said as he stood in the doorway. I looked away from Blake and rubbed the back of my neck sheepishly. "That's so funny because I came in here looking for you."

I stood up and walked towards Nick. "Blake said you guys gave away the bed."

Nick looked confused before he locked eyes with Blake. "Shit. He's right."

I rolled my eyes and grabbed his arm, leading him out of Blake's room. "You're going to buy me one right now."

To say the car was packed is an understatement. Once everyone found out Nick and I were going out they all wanted to come with. Instead of Isaac or Blake taking their cars and having some of the guys go with them, everyone squeezed into Nick's car.

I had called dibs on sitting passenger but Larry disregarded that and literally pulled me out of the seat. I had to sit in the back seat with Yumi, Tanner, and Isaac.

I wasn't about to sit, squeezed in between the guys, thankfully Isaac understood. He allowed me to sit on his lap so we all could sit comfortably. I was honestly hesitant to accept his offer but I'm glad I did because I would've hated being sandwiched between the other guys or having to sit on Blake's lap. During the car ride there Isaac and I had talked with each other and I would say we got closer which made me happy.

He's very funny and dare I say, handsome? I'd say he is but something felt wrong about that, whenever I would look over at Blake something made my stomach turn.

Finally we arrived at the furniture store and walked in.

"Guys I need to take shit."

We all turned around to look at Tanner. He gave a sheepish smile and Isaac nudged his shoulder.

"Dude you don't have to tell us that, just go."

I bit my lip and followed after Tanner.

"I'm going with him, I need to also.. use the restroom."

I called from over my shoulder. Tanner laughed as he led me towards the back of the store where the restrooms were located.

"Alright we'll meet back right here when we're done. If I'm not back, send a search party."

Tanner said clapping his hands together. I giggled, he was acting like this was some sort of mission. I saluted, "Sir yes sir," and walked in. Once I was done I spotted Tanner waiting for me.

Before I could get to him another girl with blonde hair cut me off.

"Oh my god! Tanner! I'm a huuge fan!"

I stopped walking and just stood there unsure what to do. I didn't want to interrupt them but I also felt uncomfortable standing alone.

Tanner and the girl took a couple of pictures, he was about to leave when the girl initiated small talk. She asked where everyone else was and what he was doing. He replied vaguely and tried to walk back towards me again.

This caused the girl to turn around and stare at me with disgust.

"What are you doing standing there you creep?"
