I woke up suddenly. The sound of someone aggressively knocking on my door shook me from my dreams and immediately chased away any drowsiness I might have had. I rolled my eyes and stood up, making my way towards my door. I guess I forgot I had locked it before I fell asleep.

Once it was unlocked I slowly opened the door enough that there was a small crack and I was able to peek out. My eyes shot up and when I saw Isaac standing looking back at me. He had his hands in the pockets of his black sweats, just looking at me concerned.

"Can I come in?"

He asked softly and I hesitated before nodding my head and opening the door wider for him to enter. Once he was inside my room I closed it behind me and wrapped my arms around my torso waiting for Isaac to say something. He got the hint and let out a long sigh before speaking.

"What's going on (Y/n)? You disappeared last night and this morning I could tell something was bothering you."

I blinked and looked away from him nervously. I bit my lip, I didn't feel like talking about that right now.

"Just like I said earlier, I went on a late night walk.. nothing wrong with that."

I said, still keeping my eyes off of Isaac. He responded with an annoyed huff and I felt his hands on my shoulders, causing me to look at him again.

"I don't buy it. After the recording session you went upstairs and fell asleep for hours. We were all worried for you."

I doubt all of them were worried. I thought bitterly.

Isaac seemed to take note of my change in attitude and shook me slightly.

"Please talk to me. I-I may not be Nick but I know something is wrong."

I pressed my lips together tightly and slowly removed his hands from me shoulder.

"Okay.. but you can't tell any of the guys.. especially Nick and Blake."

He nodded and I smiled slightly before taking a deep breath.

"Last night.. I was with Blake. We went to that one park a couple blocks down."

Isaac raised an eyebrow and I shook my head to tell him to stay quiet as I continued.

"He had brought weed and drinks and well you know.. anyways one thing led to another and we confessed our feelings for each other."

"What?!?"

Isaac exclaimed looking at me in shock. I felt my cheeks heat up as I bashfully looked down at the ground.

"Yeah.. I like Blake... A lot.."

Isaac chuckled at my reaction.

"Okay so.. you guys like each other but isn't that like a good thing? Why are you upset today?"

He asked moving to sit down on my bed, patting the space next to him. I frowned and sat beside him before resting my head on his shoulder.

"Well.. we kissed-"

"WHAT!!"

Isaac immediately stood up off my bed and looked over at me in disbelief. I stifled a laugh and reached over to grab his arm and guide him back to sit on my bed.

"I know, crazy right? Apparently not so life changing for Blake... he doesn't even remember anything that happened last night.."

I sighed sadly and hugged myself. Isaac wrapped his arms around me and brought be closer to him in a tender hug.

"I see, that's why you've been upset.. that sucks.. are you going to tell him about it? Maybe he'll remember then.."

Isaac said softly with a slight shrug which I returned with a firm shake of my head and pulled away from him.

"I-I don't plan on telling him. If he doesn't remember then it wasn't that important to him."

Isaac raised an eyebrow and leaned back to lay down across the bed.

"He was under a lot of substances (Y/n), I wouldn't be surprised if he forgot what he had for breakfast that morning."

I blinked at what he said and followed his movements. Now we were both laying on our backs staring up at the ceiling with our legs hanging off the side of my bed.

"I guess you're right.. but it's just.. embarrassing? What if he won't believe me and thinks I'm some weird desperate hoe."

I said moving my hands to run through my hair exasperated.

"No, actually it's just the morals of it. He's only ever shown interest in me whenever he's high or drunk and this just proves maybe we aren't meant to work out."

I heard a disgruntled grunt come from Isaac which caused me to tilt my head and look over at his face.

"Or maybe, that's the only way he can get the confidence to show you his feelings. I just know if I had a crush on my best friend's sister, I would be a nervous wreck too-"

I rolled my eyes and cut him off with snort of annoyance.

"Oh please, if he actually liked me as much as he insinuated last night he shouldn't worry about what Kaden thinks. That's like the worst excuse ever."

Isaac didn't say anything for a moment as he sat up and placed a hand on my thigh with a soft, almost pitiful, smile.

"If that's what you believe, I won't try and change your mind. But just know.. he cares about you a lot, whether you believe that or not."

And with that, Isaac stood up off my bed and began walking out my room but stopped at my door and looked back at him over his shoulder.

"Oh yeah, the guys have planned to go eat out tonight. I'm not too sure where but yeah.. You don't have to come if you don't want to I understand and I'm sure the other guys won't mind."

I looked over at him trying to decided if I should. Even if Blake would be there and constantly remind me of our late night escapade it would be nice to let loose and have fun with the others.

"I'll join you guys, just let me know when you're thinking of heading out."

Isaac smiled with a thumbs up and left my room, closing my door gently. I stared at the closed door for a minute before rolling over onto my side to grab my pillow and hug it tightly to my body. Who would have thought that moving in with my best friend would result in all this drama!
