"We need a way to destroy the fangblades and I got just the thing" Nya presses a button on the control panel, showing a huge building "The book of blades, which can be found in The Old Wood library, it's just on the edge of town"

The moment that name left her mouth, the crystal ninja freezes up where she stood.

Kai turns his head to her with a raised 'brow "What is it now, Ms. secret keeper?"

(Y/n) coughs in her hand "Nothing, just, is there any other library that we can find that book?"

Cole looks at her confused before it clicks in his mind, his face showing the realisation.

"No, this is the only one. Why are you trying to avoid this place?" Nya shakes her head.

"I-" (Y/n) sighs "That was my home, where I lived with my sister and dad. I ran away a few months, when I was supposed to go to Marty opperheimer"

She pauses when she notices her teammates silently staring at her.

"Uh, did I say something wrong?"

"No, is just that–"

Jay interuppts Nya "We kinda thought you left on good terms, cause you talk so positively about your sister" He says, leaning on the black haired girl.

"Oh, my sister would feed me to the wolves the moment I walk in there" (Y/n) replies.

Kai rolls his eyes "What's the worse she can do?"

"You haven't met her"

Standing infront the huge library, Jay almost broke his neck trying to look up the very top.

(Y/n) in- and exhale anxiously. She presses the button on a panel that was infront the gate.

A beep could be heard as a friendly old voice chimes "Welcome to the Old Wood library, how can I help you?"

"Heyyyy, dad. Long time no see" (Y/n) says akwardly. Before she could say anything else, the gate opens.

Before the girl could back away, Cole pushes her forward to the enterance. "I had to face my dad, no time to be a hypocrite"

They arrive at the main door, (Y/n) anxiously opens it. The group walks through it, being met with towering bookcases.

Jay looks up in wonder, looking at the sheer size of them. You would need a very tall ladder to reach the higher books.

The (h/c)nette was too busy observing her old home that she didn't notice that she about to bump into something, till she heard "Ahem"

Stopping in her step, she looks forward. Meeting a pair of caramel colored eyes belonging to her sister. (Y/n) flinches once she spots the girl.

Looking over her shoulders, the two Smith siblings inspect the older girl. She had middle length brown hair with black bow propped up the back of her head. Was wearing a comfortable cardigan, a black skirt and shirt under it. And finally a golden locket attached to a necklace around her neck.

She had her arms crossed, glaring daggers into the (f/c) ninja. "So you finally come back after all this time"

"Well, I just wanted to see my dear sis–" (Y/n) gets cut off by Jennette.

"Cut the bullshit and get to the point" She spat.

The younger girl sighs "We need a book to help us save Ninjago, it's a long story"

Jennette's eyes scan over the group behind her sister, spotting a familiar face.

"Hello to you too, Mr. Love letter ripper" She says to Cole before turning back to (Y/n) "Your friends can go look, but I want a talk with you"
