The Forgotten Element

Down below the island, in the room where Chen stole Karlof's elemental power, were standing Skylor, Clouse and cultists standing.

Clouse raises one of his hand, holding the spell book under his other arm "Bring in the prisoners" He orders the cultists.

The gate opens and walking out were the captured participants. Their hands bound behind their back by chains.

"So the ninja were right. This was never about any of us winning the tournament. This was always about something sinister" Griffin thinks outloud. Everything clicking in his head.

"What gave that away? Was it his cult following, or the giant snake head?" Shade sarcastically remarks at the speedster.

"We've been fighting each other for so long, it took us all losing to finally pull us together. Too bad it's too late" Neuro frowns, lowering his head.

(It was literally your fault that the alliance fell apart in the first place)

Kai perks when he hears agressieve humming, he looks back to see it was Jay "Why are you humming? You do know they're about to take our powers?" He questions his teammate.

"Since these cursed shackles have blocked our powers, I choose to use the power of positive thinking. Lloyd and (Y/n) will come save us. You just wait" Jay answers, smirking.

"I wouldn't be surprised if she leaves you you to rot after you did to her" Paleman chimes in. Referring to when the left over ninja didn't stand up for (Y/n) when she was accused of being the spy.

"Positive thinking!" Jay yells, hoping that it wouldn't be the case.

The prisoners reach the end of the staircase. Skylor looks away, feeling ashamed.

Kai glares at her "Go ahead and look away, but you know as well as I do after he takes our powers, he's still gonna need yours"

"You don't understand. My father gets everything he wants. I had no choice" Skylor shakes her head.

"Just tell me one thing. Was it his idea to make me your friend, or yours? Because it worked" The brunette asks her, making Skylor gasp.

The elemental masters were forced to stand on their knees. Coming flying in was Chen on his throne "Look at me. I'm floating".

He carefully floats down and lands infront his daughter and right hand man. "Well done, Clouse. You've really set the mood. And look at this. Soon, I'll have more power. It's good to be me"

"You may have us, but you still don't have the Green Ninja or the (F/c) Ninja" Jay argues.

"Oh, that's fine to me. I only need two more elemental powers to get the spell working. One of the reasons I invited (Y/n) was so I had an extra element on hand incase one of you escaped." Chen explains. "I bet right now one of them swoop down to save you in the very last moment and teach me a valuable lesson. Well, I'll wait. I love lessons"

"Any minute now"

"That's enough. I'm bored. But here's a lesson: don't be a sore loser. Only one can remain!" Chen raises his staff, stealling each of the captured powers. "The power is mine. All mine!"

"He never came" Jay says, dissapointment in his voice.

"Take them to the factory" Chen orders his henchmen.

"Father, please, spare Kai. I've seen inside his head. He's different. He can help you" Skylor begs, turning to her father.

"You like the boy, don't you? If it will make you happy. Leave the red one" Chen adds.
