Zane walks through an icy wasteland, no life to be seen. His bright eyes scan the place, wondering where he was.

"Don't mind him, he's a little dense"

A voice rings through his head, it sounded like a girl, a kind one. She didn't sound familiar,but why does he heard her voice?

"You don't know your parents? I'm not that different, I was three when my birth parents abandoned me"

"Who are you?" He asks, trying to find who was talking. He wasn't sure if it were calls from the past or someone trying to communicate with him.

"I'm (Y/n) (L/n), um...it's nice to meet you"

"(Y/n)?" Was the last thing he could Mutter, before he fell through the ice below. He lands in snow covered cave, where a deadly foe was waiting for him.

The Ninja, along with Garmadon and the other participants stand in line, waiting to get breakfast. Sadly Garmadon was denied creamy biscuits by the cult member operating the food.

"Well, I know what we are being served. A whole bunch of baloney. This isn't a fighting tournament. It's an alibi for Chen to steal everyone's powers. But we still don't know why" Lloyd says to the others. He moves his tray, as his father walks off to an empty booth.

"Isn't it obvious? Chen wants to destroy New Ninjago City. I don't know what it is, but that place has had a string of bad luck" Kai answers, remembering what happened the last few years.

"I'm not so sure. From what Sensei G's told us about him, I have a feeling it's something far more sinister" Cole argues, continue to move in line.

"And may I remind us, we still don't know where Zane is, which is why we all need to take care of our first rounds to give us more time. Don't look at me. I've already moved on" Jay says proudly, wearing pyjama's and a sleeping mask.

"Getting comfy, huh. Didn't your opponent get kicked out?" (Y/n) questions, eyeing his outfit.

(He was supposed to fight Paleman, but he got "kicked out". But he literally comes back after the battles)

Jay shrugs "Either way, it's my free day" He turns to the cultists, asking for extra creamy biscuits.

Cole walks off to the others, the lightning and crystal masters following behind. "Taking a day off? And here I thought ninja never quit" Cole mentions, in an annoyed voice.

"And I used to think a ninja wouldn't steal important things from you" Jay shoots back, slightly raising his voice. The two look sour at eachoter.

"Is something going on?" (Y/n) asks, concerned. The only time she has seen them like this was when Nya got captured.

"Nothing" Jay spurts out, looking in the opposite direction of the black Ninja.

"Yeah, nothing at all" Cole agrees, turning his head away.

(Y/n) think back to the note she had received the night before, telling her about the Ninja keeping something from her. It was most likely one of Chen's tricks, but it almost seemed like it had a bit of truth behind it.

Speaking of last night. After the (h/c)nette had left, the Ninja decide to not mention the whole love drama that happened while she was gone. In Cole's words: "she would fold one or all three of us like lawn chairs" and it could make a devide at a bad time like this.

"Whatever you have to say to each other, say it now, because harboring grudges hurts no one but yourselves" Garmadon instructs, personally not wanting to be stuck with them bickering the whole time.
