Day of the Great Devourer

"You must do everything in your power to stop the Great Devourer. Go, ninja, go!" Sensei Wu instructs, before him and Pythor are swallowed whole by the Devourer.

"Sensei..."

"No"

The huge snake turns its eyes to the cowarding ninja, a loud hiss coming out of its mouth.

"Oh, maybe if we stand perfectly still..." Jay mutters, backing away.

"Run!" Kai yells, as they sprint off. Nya quickly grabs Lloyd and flies off to the bounty.

The ninja quickly run to the ship and jump on. They rush into the bridge, stumbling over eachother.

Jay looks on the screen, spotting the Devourer getting closer "Uh, hate to tell you this, but objects in the mirror are closer than they appear"

"Working on it" Nya responds "Blasters on full"

The bounty lifts off the ground and blasts away, just before the great Devourer could chomp down it.

"Whoo-hoo! Take that, you stupid snake" Kai cheers. Only for the Devourer to pop out of the ground, infront of them.

"Uh, I think it heard you"

Nya turns the steering wheel, swiftly dodging the giant.

"Nya, we gotta go faster. That thing is gaining on us" Kai says to his sister.

"We're going as fast as we can. I'll try to make it to Scattered Canyon" The mentioned ravennette replies.

"Probability of us making it that far is less than eight percent" Zane remarks.

"Never tell me the odds!"

"Maybe I can slow it down with my powers" (Y/n) suggests.

Cole places a hand on her shoulder "Don't, it's far too dangerous" he looks at one of the monitors "It's coming in for another attack. Port side"

Nya swings out of the Devourer's reach just in time.

"We're losing speed. We'll drop to the ground pretty soon" Lloyd comment.

"Throw everything overboard. We need to lose some weight" Nya commands.

The ninja run out of the bridge, throwing items and furniture off the bounty. The snakes lower itself to the ground, eating the dropped objects.

"Man, he sure is hungry. Does anyone else think the Devourer looks bigger than it did before?" Jay remarks. As he says that, the snake grows in size.

(Y/n)'s eyes widen in realization "Stop throwing things! It will just make him bigger"

"Phew. We made it to Scattered Canyons. Hold on!" Nya yells, steering the bounty through the canyons. The Devourer seem to have dissapeared.

Suddenly it jumps out of the ground, its tail hits the bounty, destroying the right motor. It makes the Flying ship make a sudden movement.

Because of it, (Y/n) falls back, about to plummet to the ground. Kai rushes in, and grabs her hand just on time. He quickly pulls her back on deck.

"Abandon ship!" They hear Nya yells, as the bounty hit the ground.

Kai, still holding (Y/n)'s hand, jumps to the front of the ship. They jump off, Kai summoning his motor.

The ninja each get off with their respective vehicle, while Nya flies off in her Samurai X suit with Lloyd.
