Now that Clause and Chen fled, the elemental masters and other previous prisoners were able to take over the island. The left over guards were tied up, their weapons taken in.

"The palace and sleeping quarters are all clear. Still no sign of Chen and Clouse" Cole informs the others, having found no trace of them.

"What about Skylor?" Kai asks him, concerned. Even with their sour start, he had grown fond of the girl.

"She wasn't able to pick her family, but she was able to pick her friends. And since you're her friend, that means so are we. We'll find her" Lloyd assures placing his hand on Kai's shoulder.

"Skylor is very capable of taking care of herself, we saw it in the challenges. I know she is not gonna let herself be tosses around" (Y/n) adds, placing her hands on her hips.

Garmadon approaches the group, making them all turn to him. "I'm proud of you five. You've done what the original Elemental masters never could: stick together. Even with a small hiccup, your bond has become stronger.But you must not rest on your laurels, for your guard is down when you sleep"

Meanwhile, Chen, Clouse and a small group of hencemen hid in a cave in the mountains. With Skylor chained up against the wall.

"You know, something feels...off" Kapau mentions, placing his free hand on his chin.

"What feels off?" Chope asks him, raising an eyebrow.

"I don't know. It just feels like we've been here for ages, like a year or something" Kapau answers, shrugging his shoulders.

Chope shakes his head "I think the dust of the cave got into your head"

Skylor shakes the chains, catching their attention. "I have to scratch my face" Ge says, making the two guards look at eachother. Kapau places his spear next to her face, letting her scratch her face with it "Thanks"

Their hear footsteps and find Chen approaching. "Free her" He orders them.

"Uh, but Master, she still has her powers" Kapau says, hesitanting.

"And I still have the power to stuff you in a fortune cookie! Free her now!" He threatens them. Which makes them remove the chains quickly. "Skylor, how dare they tie you up. I blame myself for your slip in judgement"

"It wasn't a slip in judgement. The ninja were right" Skylor tells him, rubbing her sore wrists.

"And I was wrong. Wrong to steal their powers. Wrong to want to transform myself into a snake. Wrong because you needed a father and I wasn't there" Chen dramatically lowers his head, before grinning.

Seeing right through his manipulation, Skylor concludes "You think my powers can still turn you into Anacondrai—"

Clouse cuts her off "You have absorbed the powers of every Elemental fighter"

"But the staff crystal was destroyed" The red head argues.

"And that crystal was obtained from the Crystal Caves here on the island which we can go to now to complete the spell. We have everything we need to make everyone happy. Isn't that great news?" Clause explains, waving his arms around.

"But this isn't just my power, it's all of it. Taking everything from me could hurt me. Or worse" Skylor backs away, fearing what could happen to her.

"Heh, no plan is perfect" The drama king shrugs.

"You care more for your power than your own daughter" Skylor scowls, remembering (Y/n)'s word form they were playing Thunderblade.

"Without power, I'm insignificant. Is that what you want? An insignificant father?" Chen puts on a sad voice, sounding like a child that was about to cry.
