1 year later:
Diego's POV:
Me and Aurora been together for a year now and I think we are both ready for the next step marriage. It may be quick but I want to be hers. I'm gonna announce the question on Saturday over nice dinner. We always do nice dinners every two weeks so she won't suspect nothing. We've basically been together for like over 3 years, so we can get married now.
Few days later
Today I'll be proposing to Aurora. Kevin has helped me set up everything he even got a ring size. My plan is to take her to dinner and then a walk on the beach where the decor will be up and I'll ask her then. I really hope she says yes. After all I put her through im hoping she says yes.
We started to get ready for dinner and I wore this black suit and she made me pick an outfit for her to wear. She was in between a red dress or a white dress. I chose the white one since I'm gonna propose but she obviously won't question it.
I was ready but Aurora was taking forever. I don't even know what she was doing upstairs. I called Kevin to make sure everything was alright.
"You are 100% sure everything it good?" I said
"Yes Diego why can't u trust meeee" he said annoyed
"Because who knows what if you don't want me to live a happy life with the love of my life?"I said
"I have nothing against u Diego as long as ur keeping Aurora happy"
"Sure and of course I'm keeping her happy"
"Question"
"What happened Kevin? Did something go wrong, did u forget the ring?"
"No Diego it's not the proposal!" He yelled
"Jeez then what is it"
"Few years ago did u even see urself marrying Aurora or even like being with her"
"Of course I did that's when I put my master plan to work"
"Yea that plan sorta worked out for u"
"That month we were broken up hurt but I deserve it"
"Yea yea I warned u"
"Yea well I got to go I think Aurora's ready"
"Alright imma head out to and make sure to see if everything is finalized"
"Thanks Kevin u a lifesaver fr"
"Of course I am ur welcome"
We hang up and Aurora comes down the stairs
"You look prettyyy"
"Thanks Diego u don't look that bad"
"That bad? I look handsome"
"Yea u do"
We head out and start heading to the restaurant.
A/N: I WILL TRY TO WRITE THE FINAL CHAPTER TMR. This chapter is so bad because it's been in my drafts for a while and like I didn't know whether to make this the last one. So this isn't the last one but it's soooo bad. I apologize I know it's been like two months but I've been busy and like school got to me and I've had free time but I've used that to take naps 😪. Help me my love life is so shit rn like talking to this boy but he gives mixed signals he called me last night when i was tryna sleep🙁. Gotta start standing on business
