Okay! So this next request was from @SdfgGhj9 who wanted one where Wukong doesn't want a successor and denies him and Macaque then takes him in and raises him instead. @slamalmlky221maicom also wanted to see this so I hope both of you enjoy it!
So I changed some things cause I liked it better like this so Macaque and Iron Fan are sworn siblings in this (and have known each other for a long time) Macaque and Wukong were once in a relationship once in this although they aren't currently.
A child. He was small, young, and tiny. Just a little mortal thing and yet Wukong could sense his own magic coming off this tiny child. It wasn't his kid, thank the gods, and yet he'd been startled to come across this little being all out on its' own, obviously having some relation to Wukong himself considering he was found by his own rock, covered in mud and clay and cooing at him.
It looked up at him and smiled, raising small arms in a grabby motion Wukong immediately backed away from. He didn't want to pick it up. And yet it made a noise, a little breathy whine, and Wukong sighed as it did the motion again, moving over and slowly picking the thing up and holding it at arm's length. He wasn't ready to be a dad. He didn't want to be a dad! He didn't like kids, and this weirdly human-looking child wasn't something he was planning on having stick around, no matter how much magic he could feel in the little life's soul.
Wukong had looked after the infant monkeys on the mountain on occasion but that was very different. A human child was too much and Wukong was not parent material. Too much effort, too much mess, too tiring. So without much of a second thought, Wukong hopped on his cloud and darted off toward the city. If it was human, then humans could look after it, surely?
The child giggled at the feeling of the wind in its face and Wukong looked down at it briefly as he landed, letting his cloud disappear and feeling his feet touch the ground. It was night, dark, and the area around them was empty, some random ally on the edge of the city.
"Okay little guy, no offense but I don't like kids soooo... you'll be fine here." He said awkwardly, unknowing that an old friend of his who was residing in the city lifted his head at the sound of Wukong's voice, his ears all twitching at the sound of his former lover in the city.
Wukong looked around awkwardly, finding no one to bear witness to what he was about to do and he placed the child down on the ground near some shop place, the kid making a little noise at being set down.
"So uh... stay here. Someone will find you eventually." He said, raising a hand and knocking on the door to the place loudly and the kid watched him with big eyes, making the immortal feel oddly judged as he paused.
"Well... bye kid." He took a step back, leaving one last glance at the kid's big eyes and confused expression and then he was gone without second-guessing his decision, leaving the infant on the step alone in the cold to be someone else's problem.
He'd meant for the people in the building he'd knocked at to hear the noise and come out to investigate but inside the shop no one lived, the building empty until a demon would come to work in the morning, hours from now. It meant the kid was alone, eyes wandering around the darkness and big tears welled up in his eyes, stumbling clumsily to his feet and then falling, moving forward in a crawling motion to the direction Wukong had disappeared from.
"Ah!" His little voice echoed in the empty street, his little sniffles getting louder as he sat on his butt and began to cry, realizing he was alone and hating it.
"My my, what have we here?" A voice made the child silent, his head looking around wildly only to see the shadows twist and bend, a figure walking out from them with glowing curious eyes.
