Requested by @cinna_mel_rolls and @RavenLove57693 who wanted to see MK get turned back into a kid/ baby from one of my other books, 'A Son Of Two Dads' and see Wukong and Macaque's reaction.

MK is de-aged to one year old and remembers Wukong since in his head he hasn't left him yet.

Set just before MK accidentally releases LBD during 'Seeing through the Trauma' during the week he spends with Macaque and Wukong where instead of finding the key in the vault, MK comes across something else. I really loved writing this one so I hope you all enjoy it.

While Macaque and Wukong were at the entrance MK ventured further in, bright eyes keenly drawn to every interesting and shiny object and he was hardly paying attention to what his parents were doing as he picked up every interesting thing and looked at it. Sometimes the hanzi written on an item would help him figure it out and he actually recognized a few things from stores Tang had told him.

He'd just spotted the newest Monkey King action figure further down, gasping and darting over to it as he picked up the box. These hadn't even come out yet! MK had preordered one himself for when they did but the temptation was too great and he took it out of the box, assuming Baba wouldn't miss it as he put it into his jacket pocket.

Then he spotted a little vase, something small but pretty, and picked that up as well, trying to look for writing on the side that would help him figure out what it did. There was none, and he pouted in disappointment, already knowing not to open strange stuff in here.

He went to put it back down only for his foot to step on something small, a small squeak escaping him as he slipped forward, clumsy arms dropping the vace and feeling his heart plummet as he heard it smash on the floor, falling as red power exploded out the jar and into the air, his face paling with worry.

Whoops. He hoped that wasn't important. He leaned forward to grab some of the broken bits of the jar, shoving them under the pile in hopes no one would notice this mistake, and felt his nose scrunch up when he breathed in some of the red powder stuff, his nose itching as he jerked back.

It felt like he'd tickled the back of his nose, eyes closing as he opened his mouth and sneezed loudly, the nose echoing in the room and the movement kicking up more dust.

When he opened his eyes again, Qi Xiaotian looked around this weird, unfamiliar place and didn't see his Dada, opened his little one-year-old mouth, and cried.

Wukong had been talking to Macaque, easy banter falling from their lips as Macaque complained about the state of his treasury room but Wukong wasn't really that offended. He didn't care that it was messy, he always found things if he needed them eventually.

He went to respond to whatever Macaque had just said when both of them heard the sound of something shattering from not too far away, Macaque's ears flicking as a bundle of anxiety shot through Wukong's chest.

"MK? You okay, bud?" He called out to the silent, big room and realized he shouldn't have let MK wander off on his own. Not when their son attracted trouble like a magnet.

"MK?" He called louder when there was no response, wondering if maybe the boy just couldn't hear him but the fear that he'd broken something and hurt himself was too great, and he was moving forward a second later, concern building the longer MK was silent.

Then, not even a second later there was a loud cry and Wukong's heart jolted in his chest.

Macaque frowned next to him at the sound, eyebrows scrunching in confusion but Wukong didn't care as he darted toward the sound, quickly coming into view of a little monkey cub on the ground, surrounded by MK's clothes and wailing loudly.
