"Is everything packed, Ae-chan?" Harumi-san asked for what felt like the hundredth time.

Aeris chuckled, accustomed to her aunt's meticulous nature. "Aunt, I told you, I'll come back if I forgot things."

Harumi-san sighed in relief, trusting that Aeris had everything under control.

As they drove to Toyooka Airport, they engaged in casual conversation about various topics. Aeris had grown to consider Harumi-san and her family as her own, especially since they had been there for her when she needed it the most.

"All set," Aeris confirmed as she gathered her bags.

"I'll miss you, nana-chan," Kanna said, giving Aeris a tight hug.

"Me too," Aeris replied, returning the embrace.

Aeris hugged Asahi, patted Ken on the back, and then turned to her aunt and uncle. Harumi-san couldn't hold back her tears as she embraced Aeris.

"I'll miss you so much. Visit as often as you can, okay?" Harumi-san sobbed.

"Aunt, I'll come back next week or something. Don't cry like I'm not going back," Aeris reassured her with a smile.

As Aeris made her way to the airport gate, she could still hear her family's heartfelt farewells in her ears.

The announcement echoed through Sendai Airport as the plane landed. Aeris, eager to reunite with her cousin, reached for her phone.

Aeris stepped off the plane and headed to the baggage claim area to retrieve her luggage. Once she had collected all her bags, she texted her cousin, Miwa.

'i'm getting my bags now.'

'Okay'

Aeris was about to call Miwa when she heard her name being called.

"Aeris-chan," Miwa called out, excitement in her voice.

"Miwa-niichan!" Aeris exclaimed, rushing over to her older cousin.

Miwa emerged from her car and enveloped Aeris in a warm hug. Despite the age gap, they had always shared a close bond, treating each other like twins.

"Let me help you," Miwa offered, gesturing towards the luggage.

"It's heavy, though, but I don't decline offers," Aeris quipped, laughing.

Miwa chuckled in response, and together, they loaded the four large suitcases into the back of Miwa's car.

"All set?" Miwa asked as they prepared to leave the airport.

"Yeah! Let's go! I'm hungry," Aeris replied, her excitement palpable as they embarked on a new chapter in Sendai.

- Sidenote:
• yall, i didn't expect how long the travel time from Toyooka to Sendai. If you get lucky, you can have a three hrs+ flight travel, but most of the time you'll get 24hrs flight travel (overnight layover). Plus another hour/s to Miyagi prefecture, how tiring is that 😂
• but its my story lets just say that Aeris travels only 10 hrs back in forth HAHAHA
