Later that day, we were back in Kian's apartment, just in time for his new 'wifey' to cook him some dinner.
"Bagel Bites?" I suggested, opening the freezer and not seeing much else I could really procure.
"Bagel Bites." he agreed.
"Maybe Bagel Bites can be our always," he joked, quoting off of the movie The Fault in Our Stars.
"Sucker for a love story, huh?" I asked, pulling a tray of delicious looking pepperoni bagel bites out and placing them all individually on a plate.
"I don't get you. You're so cynical." he said, coming from behind me and pulling me into a huge hug as I shut the microwave door.
"And you're so optimistic. How do you do it?"
"Well hey, opposites attract, don't they?"
They sure as hell do, if my polar opposite is Kian Lawley.
"Would you like to go on a date with me tonight?" Kian asked.
"A date?" I asked sarcastically.
He rolled his eyes. "Lindsey invited me to a party. I wanna take you. As my date."
I turned to him and he put his hands on my hips.
"What kind of party are we thinkin' here?"
"One with probably a lot of alcohol, presumably."
"Perfect."
