CHAPTER 4
Two days passed; Sehun already adjusted in the place and he had grown close with Holi as well. He had known so much about her in those two days he was here; her stubbornness and clumsiness are two things that always make him laugh.
"Come on, Sehun. Let's go check on Seli." Holi said excitedly as she grabs Sehun and ran to the door when it suddenly opened, revealing Min Gook's mother.
"Oh, Hello Auntie." Holi smiled and bowed at her, Sehun did so too out of politeness.
"Hello, Holi." She smiled at Holi and faced Sehun. "Who is this?" She asked.
"Oh, he's Sehun. He's my friend. If you're looking for grandpa, he's at the kitchen; we're off to check Seli. Bye, Auntie." Holi flashed a grin at her auntie before heading out with Sehun.
"Holiday seems happy." Min Gook's mother commented as she enters the kitchen, spotting Holi's grandfather sipping on his coffee with a frown. "Stop frowning, Namsoo." She said as she sat down in front.
"I don't trust that brat." Namsoo said his frown still on.
"Come on, Namsoo. Holiday lost most of her teenage years and it's time for her to get it back, she is happy with him."
"Yes, she's happy with a total stranger. I don't know anything about that guy, Maria." Namsoo reasoned as he walked out of the kitchen and looked at the window beside the door, watching Holi laugh at what Sehun said.
Maria sighed. "But Holiday knows that boy and she seems to trust him so much." She insisted and walked beside the older guy. "When did you last see Holi this happy? It's been a long time right?"
Namsoo exhaled. "Yes, it's been a long time."
Maria smiled. "Anyway, I will need your help delivering some crops to the other village again." She changed the subject.
Namsoo shook his head. "I can't today; I need to check out the horse and its baby."
"Then I'll ask the two teenagers outside then. I'm sure that boy can drive, too." Maria smiled at Namsoo before going out of the house.
"No way is that brat going to drive my truck." He said to Maria who laughed.
"Namsoo, it's going to be alright. What do you think Holi will do, huh?" She asked.
Namsoo sighed. He knows Holi was going to insist on going to help that brat so he just bobbed his head in agreement. Maria smiled before going out of the house and headed to call the two.
"Holiday!" She called out.
"Looks like your aunt is calling you." Sehun said as he pointed behind him.
"Come on." She walked towards Maria with Sehun following her. She smiled as she got closer and stopped in front of Maria with a questioning look. "Yes, auntie?"
"Can I borrow your friend?" Maria asked as she eyes Sehun. "I need someone to deliver some crops to the other village. Can you drive, er. . .?" Her voice trailed off as she remembers Sehun's name.
"My name is Sehun, ma'am." Sehun bowed his head.
"Can you drive?" Maria asked.
Sehun looked at her then at Holi. "I'm not sure." Before he got into SM as a trainee, his father used to teach him to drive. He still remembers the things about driving but it's been a long time so he's a little unsure about this.
Maria frowned at Sehun. "What do you mean?"
"You can drive, right Sehun?" Holi asked him.
Sehun looked at Holi. With a face like that, he couldn't just say no to her. "I'll try." He said after a moment.
