CHAPTER 6
It was 9 in the morning when Sehun got out of Holi's room and heading straight to the bathroom to take a shower. He can't take off that smile he has on. After spending half of the night with Holi stargazing at the cliff and being scolded by her grandfather, not to mention he got to hold Holi's hand. Wait wait, why was he thinking what happened yesterday? They got scolded last night for almost an hour but he was still happy that happened. What the heck, Sehun?
He opened the bathroom door and opened the faucet then frowned. No water came out. I'm doomed. Does this mean he won't be able to take a shower for the day? No way in hell. He rushed to the kitchen and found Holi wiping the plates.
"Holi!" He called her out.
Holi got startled and turned to face Sehun with a frown. "What's wrong?" She asked.
"The water's out!" He said panicky.
Holi blinked at Sehun twice before laughing out loud at Sehun's expression. "Now now, don't worry. We can always get water from the well."
"Well?" Sehun echoed.
"Never heard of a well?" Holi asked as she tried not to laugh at Sehun's bewildered look.
"Holi, the water's out again. Get the containers; we'll go to the well." They both heard Holi's grandfather said as soon as he entered the kitchen. "You." He pointed at Sehun who straightened, "You're a man, right? Help out." He then exited the kitchen.
"Come on, let's go get the containers." Holi said and exited the kitchen as well, with Sehun following her.
Sehun knew what a well is but he never seen one in person, he just saw it in some Korean traditional movies he often watches with Chanyeol and now he wouldn't just see one, he was going to get water from it. Sounds fun though.
The three of them got out of the house, carrying water containers. Holi looked up to see the sky, the usual blue sky was gone and it was now in a gloomy state with gray clouds. It was going to rain sooner or later.
She heard some ruckus behind her, she stopped walking and looked to see Sehun having trouble carrying the water containers and was cussing under his breath. He was carrying three containers only and looks problematic on how to carry all of it. One fell and he stumbled on it, he carried the three but one fell again. He groaned.
"Hey, need some help?" She offered smugly at Sehun.
Sehun looked at her with a hopeful expression but it was gone in an instant. "No. I can carry them." He said with a determined voice and scooped all three big water containers with him.
"Yah! Brat, hurry up!" Namsoo called Sehun out.
Sehun sighed and flashed Holi a crooked smile before running wobbly towards Namsoo. "I'm coming!"
Holi exhaled."Seriously, Grandpa is being way too harsh at Sehun." She muttered to herself and followed the two boys.
They arrived at the well a few minutes later, Sehun placed down all the containers he was holding and walked towards the well. He looked down in the well, it was deep, there was a hose attached to it up to the water pump beside the well and there was pulley with a rope that was tied to a dipper.
"Yah, brat! Work!" Namsoo yelled at Sehun.
"N-ne!" Sehun stuttered as he hastily took the containers and passed it on Holi's grandfather.
