CHAPTER 9
When can I stop looking at him?! Holi practically screamed in her mind as she started to get flustered again. She was being easily flustered these days and the fluttery feeling inside her was worsening. What the heck is happening?
Sehun smiled and reality kicked in fast, it was a cue that their starring session was finished and Holi let a wave of relief flood on her. Sehun pointed his forefinger to his left, Holi sent him a 'what' look before looking at where he was pointing. He was pointing at the deserted backyard of Min Gook's home, she looked back at him and frowned in confusion.
Sehun chuckled and mouthed something which she immediately understood. Let's go. As Sehun started to walk to the place he pointed, Holi did so too. Sehun swam in the tight crowd and sometimes, glances at Holi who was walking to the place he told her to go. He gently pushed away the people in his way to get there before she can.
Hopefully, he arrived a few seconds before Holi can. He faced her with a smile.
"Okay, so what are we doing here?" Holi asked as she approached Sehun.
"Just to let you know, I didn't get my dance with my partner tonight." Sehun answered with a pout.
"Oh right. . . sorry." Holi smiled apologetically, "I went back to the place where we left you but you're not there anymore."
Sehun faced her. "Oh so that's why the spot you two occupied on the dance floor was empty."
They shared a moment of silence.
"Sorry." They both apologized at the same time; they looked at each for a moment before bursting out of laugher.
"This will probably become the best weeks of my life." Sehun commented.
"Why? I probably think that there is something more important in your life than being in a farm." Holi answered him but can't help but smile at what Sehun said. "Are your memories coming back?"
Sehun shook his head as guilt started to eat him slowly again. "No, not yet." He then stared at the dark, full of stars night sky as a familiar song, too familiar played in the background. It was their song. Moonlight was being played right now.
"Hey, the song sounds nice." Holi commented, listening to the song.
Sehun held out his hand in a gentleman way with a smile. "I know and it's a good song for my long awaited dance, don' you think so?" He said. "Will you dance with me, Holi?"
The fluttery feeling was back again as Holi hesitated on taking Sehun's hand, she thought for a while if this is the best way but Sehun, being an impatient boy as he was took her hand even before she could say her answer and held her waist as she rests her other hand on his shoulder without saying any protest.
"Let's not do what we practiced. It's better to give yourself up to the music." Sehun told her as they swung from left to right slowly.
Holi unknowingly giggled. "I figured you would say that."
Sehun left a space in between them, respecting Holi. He knows girls better than his hyungs. Sure, there are girls that are a little too much that is almost giving their selves to him when he dances with them back in high school but there are some that needs respect and Holi was one of them. One wrong move could be the end of this mini dance.
The song ended and a new one played, another one of their songs but from their earlier album, his mind doesn't have to guess what song was that, it was baby don't cry. Is Min Gook the one playing the music? It was such a great thing that he was playing ballad and since he was a rapper, he wasn't singing some verses in the song.
