CHAPTER 7

"No. . .don't leave me. I'm scared."

Sehun doesn't know what he should do. It wasn't the first time he got tackled by girl. Most of his crazy fans do that at him but with Holi, it just feels so different. He was feeling a little bit self conscious but a part of him wanted to slap him for being self conscious right now.

He slowly sat up, his back throbbing in the process but it was bearable and Holi was more than obliged to help him up but she was still clinging on him like her life depends on it. So, Holi fears thunderstorms. Sehun thought. It's not the best way to leave her alone for now.

He put on a smile and patted her head. "Don't worry. You're not alone. I'm here." He said softly.

"I hate thunderstorms." She muttered, resting her head on Sehun's chest.

She felt Sehun's hand stroking her hair as he said. "It's okay. You don't have to be scared, Holi. I'll protect you, okay?"

"You promise that you won't leave?" She asked.

"Don't worry. I won't leave. So please stop crying now, hm?" He answered her softly but he was in chaos. He couldn't promise that he won't leave and he felt so guilty about it.

Holi was just so happy right now. Having Sehun beside her was comforting enough and it was so secure to be in his arms. As she was recovering from her outburst, the thunderstorm continued outside and she immediately gasped but Sehun held her in a secure way.

Holi was about to fall in sleep when she realized that from what she asked Sehun about not leaving, he never promised. Something was holding him back and she wonder what.

For the whole time that it was raining, they were on the floor on the same spot and on the same position for what Sehun feels like hours already. He can't feel his legs anymore. Holi was holding his shirt and it's probably wrinkled now but none of those crossed Sehun's mind as he was thinking that it was not the time to be a whiny brat.

Abruptly, the rain stopped but Holi was still in the same position but her grip was loose on his shirt and her back seemed relaxed.

"Holi?" Sehun asked but he got answered by a light snore. He chuckled quietly. "She sleeps pretty fast." He muttered as he slowly got up and trying not to wake Holi up. His legs were numb but he managed to stand up without falling back on the floor.

He couldn't just let Holi sleep on the floor. It was cold and dirty. He was mentally debating against his own self consciousness on whether he should carry Holi back to her bed or just let her stay there but he will just get her pillows and blanket. He slapped his forehead. What kind of option is option number 2? Holi's sick for freaking out loud.

After fighting it off, he finally chose option number one and scooped Holi from the floor which she immediately snuggled closer to Sehun, totally absorbed by his warmth. Sehun can feel his cheeks getting hot and he rushed to Holi's bed. He placed her down gently, carefully laid her blanket over her and took a step back.

He mentally slapped his own self. That weird feeling inside him was back. What is this weird feeling? It felt weird (duh, he wouldn't call it weird if it wasn't) and he had to admit, it actually felt good having that weird feeling but right now, it was gone again.

He sat down on the same seat he was sitting on before Holi woke up. As he was playing back some memories of his stay here, he remembered the time he woke up back at the river. The cold, Holi's eyes, her smile and. . .wait, if he remembers it clearly, he recalled having to feel Holi's lips on his.
