Does this mean our acquaintances are our friends? Our "allies" are our friends? What then do we call people who are not our friends but have somewhat of a relationship with them? Can a relationship exist without the concept of friendship? What is friendship? How do we define it and separate it from any other interaction?
Is our behavior reflective of the words we say? That is, if we believe one is not a friend of ours, do we behave with them in a way that does not reflect friendship? Do we know of the difference between being friendly and friendship?
Do the people that we interact with know that we do not consider them our friends? Do we truly believe and stand in our choice of friends? What then happens to those that aren't our "friends" but are still part of our lives, actively? Do they know they aren't our friends? Would they still be in our lives if they knew we didn't consider them friends? Would we care? Or it's not that deep?
A friend. What is a friend? And can there be truly only one distinct definition of what a friend is? Or do we establish what friendship is that is unique to us?
Is the concept of friendship even genuine nowadays?
