An Unexpected Visit

I always thought the world had no problems and was always so full of amazement. If you told me I'd be a part of something bigger I would've told you that's absurd. My name is Bilbo Baggins (45) I am the oldest of 3 Hobbit children and I have 2 annoying siblings and 1 amazing nephew. My sister Billa Baggins (41) is mainly like me and our mother, she was adventurous, she always adored climbing trees and we always would worship playing around with swords; altho I would always win.

Billa passed away a few months ago when she gave birth to my nephew Frodo Baggins. That was not the only reason she had passed away, she also had the same illness her husband had; doctors said it was treatable but she didn’t want to get it treated due to the fact that it would harm her unborn child. My brother, Bill Baggins (37) he's especially like our father Bungo Baggins, he's respectable, loves to read, and isn't into anything adventurous or dangerous.

Our adventure starts like any other on a bright day, me and Bill are outback in the backyard garden talking about random things and how we are going to raise Frodo. I promised my sister after she gave birth that I would do my best to raise Frodo into a good Hobbit. Due to the fact that almost everyone in our family was deceased except for me and my brother Bill we promised that no harm would ever come to Frodo and that we would always protect him.

Bill was holding Frodo while reading a book on the bench and talking to me at the same time. There was an unfamiliar knock on our front door, it sent a question to both of our minds 'who could be here at the so-called cursed family's house?'; Everyone called us cursed because our mother Belladonna Took is part of the Took family bloodline and our father Bungo Baggins is part of the Baggins family bloodline; The two bloodlines don't go well.

I said that I would get the door, I couldn't help but think who would be at the door of this family; altho my brother was respected when we went out, I was frowned upon because of my so called- ‘wild ways’. No Hobbit, whether it be the Took bloodline or Baggins bloodline, is supposed to play with swords, let alone fight in battle with others.

I was walking to the door but I guess I got lost in thought because the knocking became louder and personally a little annoying to me. I walked up to open the door and who I saw standing there shook me to the core, it was none other than my dear old friend Gandalf The Gray!

I know it's short but bear with me, I wrote this a long time ago and didn't have Wattpad at that time.
