After 3 days of traveling and Gandalf explaining how things came to be, we finally arrived at a strange place not far from Moria but still far. There were stations for injured dwarves set out everywhere and tents for others; Oh boy, what have you gotten yourself into Bilbo? Gandalf and I dismounted our horses and gathered our things from the saddles.

I followed Gandalf to a huge tent that looked like it was made for 7 people; must be Lord Dain's tent. "You might want to wait out here young Bilbo, I haven't told Dain of your arrival yet." I nodded my head in response. I was kinda curious about the culture of dwarves but for now I let my curiosity settle somewhere else.

"Young Bilbo, please enter" Gandalf told me from inside the tent. I walked up to the tents entrance and started to pull the curtain away, and I walked in. I saw a pair of eyes on me by Gandalf, I presumed it was Dain. "So, this is the only person you could find to help us?" The person asked. "But of course Lord Dain, If you don't want this poor lads help then I shall send him back then." Gandalf stated out, of course me and my mouth had to go blabbing out.

"If ya didn't want any help then ye shouldn't have asked for any." Yup, my big fat Took mouth just had to open up and say something, let alone have an accent in my voice as well. Dain looked at me stunned but at the same time like he was angry but he then burst out laughing, I looked at him stunned; why was this guy laughing?

"Wow Gandalf, you picked up a real feisty one eh." I guess I should take that as a complement. "My apologies lord Dain, my mouth has a tendency to speak out of turn, and when it does it's usually not anything good." Altho the look on your face when I said that was priceless I still had to apologize for my rude and controlling mouth.

"Tis no worries er..." "Bilbo, Bilbo Baggins at your service sir." I bowed my head as a sign of respect to the dwarf; frankly I've always been fond of dwarves and have had very high respect for them. "Pleasure to meet you Mr. Baggins, tell me young one, what made you want to take on this adventure knowing you might not return from this?"

Dain asked me and I thought for a moment, then I responded "Well, I couldn't miss out on a good adventure now could I? Besides I couldn't leave others to fend for themselves no matter the race, fighting to win over the land your people own is something I would always help with, I also knew that I would be bugged by Gandalf my whole life about this."

Dain and Gandalf gave a laugh "Well thank you for coming to my aid little one, for that you have my respect." Respect? I never knew it was easy to earn a dwarves respect like this. "If I may ask lord Dain, we are fighting wargs and orcs, am I correct?" I asked that in full confidence altho I didn't feel like I had any confidence after the sharp glare that Dain sent me; Gulp, this guy is way more scary then what Gandalf had told me.

"Aye lad, but we are fighting to take down the orc leader... Azog." Azog, the most feared orc in the land, also one of the hardest to kill. If I had to make a guess I'd say that Azog was the one who stole Moria from them; welp this is definitely going to be a hard and bloody battle. "I see..." That was really all I could say about this predicament I was in right now.

So this battle might be one I won't return from huh... I hope I return to you Bill, Frodo. Then again it is a 50% chance that I might return but I will have returned with more scars mentally rather than physically... If I do return I promise I will be more like father and brother, Proper and well behaved.

Yay, I'm in school and it's almost done with the day, god precalculus is soo hard!
