After 1 month of being near Dain and the other dwarves, they started to warm up to me being there and helping out. Altho most of the dwarves still ask Lord Dain if he was really going to keep me here. They were speaking in Khuzdul so they thought I couldn't understand them.

"Lord Dain tem certeza sobre este halfling se juntar a nós na batalha?" (Lord Dain are you sure about this halfing joining us in battle?) Halfling!? How dare he call me that, I know I am half Took and half Baggins but still it's rude to call people halflings. I am however curious as to Lord Dain's response.

"Se Gandalf confia no Hobbit, então devemos confiar nele também. Muito menos ele está disposto a ajudar a lutar contra Azog." (If Gandalf trusts the Hobbit then we must have trust in him too. Let alone he is willing to help fight Azog.) Wow he trusts me huh, well then I guess I shouldn't let him down.

I smiled to myself and then it hit me, we were going to attack tomorrow. Time flies fast when you're helping others, it's already been 1 month since I left the shire. I wonder how much blood and death will be on the battlefield tomorrow; sigh Only thing I can do is protect those who need it. Mother, are you seeing me put my skills to use finally?

I was broken out of my thoughts by Dain walking over to me. "Are you nervous Bilbo?" Terrified for war and all the losses that will come, yes, worried about my skills nope "Lord Dain, the only thing I am worried about is the great loss that will come with this battle. I only hope we are successful in our attack."

"Yes... I can understand that." Lord Dain said. Altho I had fun getting to know most of these dwarves, it will be sad that some of them will die in battle. "The question we need to ask ourselves Lord Dain is not if the battle was worth it but was the people's sacrifice worth it... That is the only thing I want you to keep in mind." Lord Dain gave me a curious face before speaking.

"Your young Hobbit but your wisdom is well beyond your years." I smiled at him then I walked away to my tent to get some sleep before the big day.

The battle is drawing near and death is on the rise, will he fall or will he rise? Hay! That rymed!
