A Real Date

Elliott Grey definitely had some ideas and not all of them were business related. He is very charming but I don't think we really have much in common. He is an outdoorsman and I like taking photographs of it, but I don't like being in a tent and roughing it. I am more of a glamper, than a camper. I rarely have had a overnight in the outdoors, or in my case an rv or close to one. There have been trips that we need to stay overnight. So when he asked about it I told him that I don't camp out. Of course he has seen my photos of the great outdoors and I tell him that I love taking photos and will trek to get certain photographs, but I trek back as well. I usually take photographs all along the way.

I was hopeful about her liking the camping idea at one point. She isn't an outdoors type of person except for taking photographs. I guess she and a few of her staff go out and get the shots and come back. They get videos as well. The wedding videos and photos were excellent. Well edited and presented nicely. I tried a different approach to getting her to go out on a date with me. I decide to ask her out on a real date because I want to. A lot of women don't like camping, at least she likes going and taking photos of scenery. I finally talk her into a date and she agrees to it.

Anastasia and Christian allowed me to showcase their wedding photos in my job jacket. It was my best work because they looked like models and the lighting was perfect. I don't usually have all of the photos perfect along with videos as well. Everything went like a well oiled machine thanks to working things out with the couple and the wedding planner. Everything went together along with timing of the phots and videos to lighting and timing. Elliott picked me up in a nice luxury car with a driver and a bodyguard. I figured he would drive a truck or a Jeep but I was surprised by the fact he chose to use this car and have his driver and bodyguard with him. We arrive at the Mile High Club and he tells me his brother owns it and he has access to his private room or his usual table. I am glad he told me to dress formally. This place is for the wealthy and people who can afford the best. We are seated by a very flirtatious hostess, who either has went out with Elliott or is wanting to and has no shame in flirting with him in front of me. He ignores her and dismisses her and asks me what I want to drink. He pays attention to me only. I don't want my parents to know that I have accepted a date with Elliott because they would have me married to him and with two children in no time. He is very co side rate of my feelings and I appreciate that. We discuss my closing photography over working for my dad as a writer and an investigative reporter. I explained that one of the reports I had involved a murder and I couldn't do it because it involved one of my classmates. Dad got mad and tried to force the issue and I quit. I was already and trained photographer and had friends that said I was good enough to do it as a career. I had just gotten my trust fund and put it to good use and started my business and it took off. The Kavanagh name helped out a lot. But my reputation started growing and it helped to get the best possible people to work with me and word got out about how good we were.

I heard that Eamon could be a piece of work. I don't think I ever knew he was like that to even his children. I can understand why she chose what she did. I know dad wanted one of us to become a lawyer and mom hoped for a doctor. None of us are. We chose our own paths, well Mia is balancing between chef and fashion designer. I think chef is her best bet since she can't draw very well. I believe that we have been very successful, since Christian is a billionaire and I am getting there. Mia is still figuring it out. I started looking for a place we might look at putting up money to open it up and have Mia become owner and chef of her own restaurant and catering business. I guess Kate's brother Ethan has opened up his own psychiatric office. He finally passed his licensing test and just opened up his office after getting his medical insurance in place. I guess it takes a lot to get things like that set up. His is a private practice and it can be costly to set it up.

The evening was great and we found out a lot about each other and he has asked me out again. I have to give him credit for being attentive to me even though young ladies have stopped at the table to say hi to him. They of course are very rude to me and he quickly dismisses them and his bodyguard has started blocking the young ladies from getting near us. After two he had them blocked from coming near us. There was no doubt they had had sexual relations with Elliott they made sure that I knew that fact and just how good it was in bed or anyplace else with him. He had the young ladies escorted away from the table. Elliott tells me that he used to date a lot of women, but he got burned out because they weren't the kind of women he wanted to create a life with. They were all about being seen with him or trying to get an introduction to Christian. They were also very material and he basically told them he wasn't anyone's bank account. I laughed and I kind of know a little of what he means because guys dated me to meet my dad and get a stepping stone into Kavanagh Media. He kissed me goodbye for thirty minutes at my front door. We had a good first second and so on date. My parents have met his finally after my being harassed about meeting them. They met Elliott and knew of him from different events.
