Just when I thought things were going well, someone throws a fit and it's not the baby. It's David the grown up acting like a baby. Apparently he got mad because he found out that little David is calling Kate mama and Elliott dada. He thinks that it is very confusing for the baby to call them that and us that and wants it stopped or he will stop it. I tell him to cut it out. I met Elliott's family and so did David. He thought he could use the meeting to try to get an appointment with Christian Grey to invest in a new idea he has. Of course Christian told him that he doesn't invest in the kind of business that he was shown. David brooded during the whole dinner. So he made it miserable for me and everyone else because he was told no. I begged him not to bring it up, but he didn't listen at all.

David
I figured I could push for something to happen and get a meeting and an investment in my business. But Christian told me point blank he didn't invest in the kind of company I own. He told me if I had checked prior to coming here tonight that I would have already known that he doesn't. I said well I thought you would make an exception since I am David's step father and all.

Christian
I will say this once and once only, you might be David's stepfather but I don't let people use their personal connections to my family change my way of doing business. It is how I am as successful as I am. I can give you a couple of names to call and see if they will invest in your company. I will not help you get them to invest and don't use my name to get your foot in the door. Do the work to get your foot in the door and be more prepared than you were tonight. Now let's chat about other things shall we?

I am holding little David and he is smiling at everyone and cooing. Helena comes and takes him away from me and they excuse themselves saying they have overstayed their welcome. After they leave we realize that this was Elliott's weekend with little David and they just took him. Elliott has followed them outside and informs big David this is his weekend with little David and if they rake him they are violating the visitation rights.

Elliott
I realize they are taking little David and leaving and this is my weekend with him. I am not letting them take him without a fight. I stop them and remind them it is my weekend and they start to get him into the car and I remind them they are violating my visitation rights and I will take them to court.

David
Want to see him again get your brother to invest in my company or you invest in it, otherwise say goodbye to your son. I put little David in the car and we drive off. Let's see how long it takes them to invest in my company so they can see little David.

Are you thinking they will open up the piggy banks and throw money at us just to see little David?

David
Oh I am sure of it, did you see how attached they are to him already? I did and I plan to get a big chunk of money from them.

Helena
You do know they will haul me into court and attorneys fees are not cheap and Carrick is a brilliant attorney. They all heard you threaten to keep him away until they invested in your company. You aren't the one who has to deal with the courts, I am and they will use this to get my rights taken away from me if you stop Elliott from seeing his son.

David
I can hold out longer than they can on this, can you?

Helena
You can't stop the visitations and you know if you try it will cause me troubles. Are you going to stop him from picking the baby up? There are set visitations and you just ended todays because you didn't get money invested in your company. You could try to get a business loan, couldn't you?

David
Why should I do that when I have the key to getting as much money as Elliott Grey has to just see his son. That's why we did this to begin with, right?

Helena
You started this project and here we are, we got a nice child support amount and anything we need for little David. Plus they will pay for his medical and his education. This minivan was a nice gift as well. All the new clothes and baby furniture and the car seat. We even have security guards keeping watch on us.

Christian
Jason he has crossed the line at 5his point, but I don't think he will do much more than keep Elliott from visiting the baby at this point. We need to get the recordings and make they are ready for court.

I gather everything from the security files and record them to several USB drives and then I make sure we get the conversation at dinner that brought about their sudden departure from the table and home. I also got the conversation that Helena had with her husband before they knocked on the door. They are definitely using this baby to extort cash from Elliott Grey and even Christian Grey. Amazing what you can hear when you have the right equipment. Carrick and Christian suspected this was a huge set up from the beginning. They definitely didn't wait long to put it into action. They made sure to set things up and the timing was just right. The attack at Elliott's job was part of the set up. They might use that to make life hard for Elliott. They are definitely after money and a lot of it.
