Christina Finds A Way

I am waiting and watching as I watch the news of a female body being found. My mother has not been seen since her boyfriend dragged her out of our apartment. He tied her up and gagged her as he thought we were sleeping. I grab my siblings coats and boots and we leave as quickly as we can. I don't know what to do anymore because we can't be here when that man comes back. Jenny and Thomas and I are now orphans. Our fathers were brutally killed by this man and now my mothers photo is on the news and we are the only witnesses to him grabbing her. He will definitely come back for us. I walk to the nearby hospital and they take one look at the bruises on my neck and face and rush over to all of us. Nurses and doctors are surrounding us and asking all kinds of questions. Apparently I walked carrying my siblings for over a mile.

Dr Lewis Adams
I look over the children and get them checked in and examined. The two smaller ones won't let go of their sister. She coaxed them into allowing us to take off their filthy clothing and wash them off and examine their injuries. Who does this to small children? A monster that is who does it. Christina is six years old now and Jenny and Thomas are two going on three and they are all very tiny. We check for breaks and do a thorough evaluation of the condition. I ask where their parents are and Christina said she saw a photo of her mother on the news as a dead body that was found. Apparently her boyfriend had tied her up gagged her and took her from their apartment after beating her up. After seeing the news of her mother being found dead she got out of the apartment and came to the hospital for safety reasons. She felt the boyfriend would get rid of them as well. Robert Gunter was a very mean man. I call dr Grey and ask her what the protocol is on this type of thing. I am new and still learning here at the hospital. They need an advocate and a caseworker along with they will be questioned by the police.

I am on the phone talking to dr Adams and I have him admit the children and treat their injuries as needed and start medications and saline as needed. Make sure they are monitored regularly. Three little ones walked into the ER without an adult. Dr Adams said the oldest was six and she carried her siblings into the hospital. They all have bruises on them and are malnourished. The girl said she saw her mothers photo on the tv as a dead body that was found. Her mothers boyfriend tied her mom up and gagged her right before he took her out of their apartment. I get dressed and head to the hospital to check these three over. We need to assure they are safe from the boyfriend. We need to do this right and get the right people talking to these three. A six year old with two three year olds were frozen by the time they arrived in the ER. The two younger ones wouldn't let go of the older one.

Robert Gunter
I arrive back to the apartment to finish the job and disappear from Seattle. I walk in and it is quiet, too quiet. I open the door to the room we kept the kids in and they are gone. I check all their hiding places. I grab all my things and leave, I just hope they don't identify me as hurting their mother or them. I couldn't find Ingrid's money anywhere and her purse is gone. All her hidden cash is gone. A stool was in place and the cabinet was open and the cereal box is empty of the plastic container that held the ten thousand dollars she was given for her first child. She carried a baby for a couple. I found out she had it after both her husbands died in strange accidents. She was holding out on me with those settlements. At 26 she has been widowed twice carried a baby for a couple just before she had Christina. I have only the thirty dollars I found by accident. I was so mad at her that I decided to get rid of her and I did. I was behind the husbands deaths as well. I made them look like an accident. I made sure that I set up the car wrecks to be the other drivers fault. Being a stunt driver I know how to do it.

Of course they call me out on this call regarding children whose mother was found dead in an isolated warehouse that just happened to be getting demolished in the next two days. I had to question three small children who were six and three years of age. They had a child advocate with them and a doctor looking out for them as well. We were able to get enough information from the oldest one to know that she grabbed her siblings and ran after seeing that her mothers body was found on the news. Her boyfriend had tied her up and gagged her and taken her beaten body from the apartment. Robert Gunter was nowhere to be found. We staked out the apartment just in case he came back and he did indeed came back and we arrested him. We discovered that he was wanted in questioning about other deaths and two of them were the husbands of the mother of the children. We had enough evidence of Gunters violent behavior we made sure the children testified without him in the courtroom. He is serving three life sentences for three murders. The children were placed in a temporary home until they were healed.
