Steve had driven me home that night and walked me up to my door, leaving me with a short and sweet goodnight kiss. Which is why I smiled wide when he walked into the bar the next afternoon, sitting in the same seat he always sits in. "I'll get his beer!" Maddy said, quickly pouring a beer for him and walking it over to him before I even had a chance. He smiled as she set it down in front of him.

Right. They went on a date. And she probably had a great time and has no idea that we also went on a date. That's what I get for setting them up. My face dropped slightly thinking about the possibility of Steve having some kind of feelings for her, despite what he told me, and I resumed making drinks for the rowdy table of men in the corner who had nothing better to do on a Monday afternoon apparently. I started walking towards the table of men when I heard Steve's laugh float across the room. I quickly looked over my shoulder to see him in a deep conversation with Maddy and her hand gently resting on his bicep. It was at that moment, everything on my tray spilled onto the floor as I ran smack into someone. Liquid splashed and glass shattered against the hard floor.

"Becca!!" I heard Maddy yell. I looked around me and saw everyone staring at me. My face flushed red with embarrassment and I looked back at the man I ran into. He was soaking wet with various alcoholic beverages. "I'm so sorry!" I quickly pulled out a towel and handed it to the man I just tried to bulldoze over. "Please don't be sorry, it was just an accident." The man took the towel from my hands and began to dab his shirt and pants with it. Not that it was doing much though. I carefully stepped over the glass while Bailey and Maddy walked over with a broom and dustpan.

"I'll clean it up, just go take a breather or something." Bailey said, pushing me towards the back. I nodded at him and quickly walked away from prying eyes and into the back room. I leaned against the wall and let out a puff of air. I can't believe I did that...

"Becca, are you alright?" I looked over and saw Steve walking into the back room. "Yea, I'm okay. Just wasn't watching where I was going." I smiled over at him. He didn't need to know I was distracted because Maddy's hand was on his arm and I got briefly jealous. "Are you sure? Let me-" "I'm fine, Steve." I snapped, cutting him off. "Hey...Becca, it's just me." He held up his hands and I sighed. "I know, I'm sorry for snapping at you. I'm just embarrassed." I mumbled, walking past him and back behind the bar where, unfortunately, the man I ran into was standing. God I felt so bad. I approached him and gave him a small smile.

"I'm so sorry about your clothes...Mr...." I said again, looking over his damp clothes. "Danny. And please, don't worry about it. It was just an accident." He gave me a kind smile back but I was determined to do something for him at least. I spilled sticky drinks all over the poor man. "Can I at least pay for your dry cleaning or something?" I asked him. "That's not necessary...Rebecca." He smiled, reading off my nametag. "Please, just call me Becca." "Becca then. How about dinner and we will call it even?" My breath hitched in my throat as I became hyper aware of Steve sitting only a few barstools over.

"Oh, um...I-" "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to sound too forward." He said, probably sensing the hesitancy. "No. It's okay...I'd um...I'd love to get dinner with you."

Oh god. What have I done? My heart started beating fast and I felt my stomach doing flips. I just felt like I couldn't say no. "Great!" Danny smiled at me, "How is your schedule?"

I quickly glanced over at the seat Steve was occupying to find it now empty. The only thing left, a few dollar bills. I've messed up. "Clear on Thursday." I said, looking back at Danny. "Perfect. May I have your phone number and address? I could pick you up then at about 6 for dinner?" I nodded and grabbed a pen from my apron and wrote down my address and number on a napkin. "Perfect, I'll see you then." He smiled, giving me his own number, and walked back over to a table, taking a seat.

"Bailey?" I called out. "Yea?" "I need to leave." I said, glancing back at him. "Now? But your shift isn't over until 7?"

"I know...I just...I need to go." I untied my apron and folded it up before grabbing my purse and running out of the bar and in the direction of Steve's apartment, praying that I'd run into him. I got to his apartment, out of breath, and knocked on the door. No answer.

I kicked the rock over and grabbed his spare key, unlocking the door and pushing it open. "Steve??" I called out. He wasn't here. Shit. I groaned and fell back on his couch. He probably decided to take the long way. I'd just wait for him to show up. A few hours passed and I was curled up under a blanket, waiting for him. I heard the door unlock slowly and sat up quickly when I saw Steve. "Steve..."

"Becca, what are you doing here?" He asked. "I left work to see you. I-" I looked down at my hands and sighed. "I'm sorry."

"I thought we had a good date..." Steve said, walking across the room and into the kitchen. "We did!"

"Then why? What did I do wrong?" I quickly stood up and walked over towards him. "Nothing! You didn't do anything wrong..."

"Do you want to date other people? Because if you do Becca that's fine but tell me now..." He said. I shook my head and stood on my toes to wrap my arms around his shoulders. "I don't want to date other people. I want you." His arms wrapped around my waist gently.

"Then why would you agree to a date with that guy?" He asked. I sighed and ran my fingers through the hair on the nape of his neck. "I just felt bad that I spilled drinks all over him because I was distracted. I tried to offer to pay for his dry cleaning but he said it wasn't necessary and maybe dinner would call it even. I felt like I couldn't say no."

"Why were you distracted?" He asked. "I saw you and Maddy talking, laughing...I got a little...jealous..." Steve smiled and shook his head. "I told you, I only want you, Becca." Steve pushed a piece of hair behind my ear. "Maddy and I are just friends. In fact, she's the one who told me to tell you how I felt. She was asking if I had grown some balls and asked you out yet. Which of course I told her we went to Coney Island." Oh, well now I feel stupid. "You have no reason to be jealous, Becca." He closed the gap between us and kissed me gently. I relaxed in his arms and let him lift me up, holding me close to his chest. "Do I have a reason to be jealous?" Steve asked. "No." I whispered. "Good."

Our lips crashed together in a hungry, passionate kiss and it wasn't long before Steve was carrying me into his bedroom. He gently tossed me onto his bed and pulled off his white button up shirt and hovering over me. "Becca?" I smiled and pulled his face to mine, wordlessly telling him that this is exactly what I wanted.

My clothes quickly followed his onto the floor as our bodies remained pressed together. I ran my hands across his upper body, arms, and then down his torso. I let my fingers graze over every muscle until I gripped his hard length. He moaned into my mouth and bit down on my bottom lip. "I want this, Steve." I whispered. His kisses move down my neck and collarbone and he intertwined our fingers before lining himself up with my entrance.

His eyes searched mine again and I nodded. I slowly felt him push into me, stretching my walls around him. A groan left my lips and my back arched off the bed at the feeling. "Fuck." Steve mumbled as he bottomed out. I ran my fingers through his hair and gripped it as his hips moved against mine slowly. His thrusts were the perfect combination of speed and power. Not too slow and not too hard. Just right. He left hot and wet kisses all over my body as he continued to thrust into me.

"Steve..." I groaned, biting down on his shoulder as he brushed my gspot. "I'm gonna..." "Me too." He groaned. Our lips met once again as I felt a knot form before releasing in the most euphoric way. Loud moans left my lips as I clenched around him. My orgasm quickly sent him into his own as hot ropes of cum filled my body. We rode out our highs before Steve pulled out and laid down on the small full size bed next to me.

I instinctively curled up next to him and he pulled the sheets over our bodies. "That was amazing." I whispered. "You're amazing." I felt him kiss my head and squeeze me tightly.

"So are you still going to go on that date?" Steve asked. I couldn't help but roll my eyes and look at him. "No Steve, I'm not going on that date. I'm all in." He let a big smile cross his face as he pulled me into another kiss. "Good, because I'm all in too Becca."
