“Juan Krystal” I told the man who had just threatened to shoot Luke's forehead “You have no business here.”

“Well, if it isn’t the leader of the Sirens, Ken Glesson!” he greeted, grinning.

Luke managed to get up to his feet. Since we were in mid-air, it would’ve looked kind of awkward, had Derek not been holding him by one arm.

“I thought you shot me” he sighed.

Juan’s expression was cold “I couldn’t bring myself to shoot you, Luke”

“Of course you couldn’t, Juan.” Derek laughed nervously. He gave me the feeling that knew what would happen when Luke and Juan came face to face. It just wasn't anything I had suspected.

Juan was Luke's trainer; the one who had taught him how to handle weapons like Vorare and Flectare. He used to teach Luke before the Whites had their downfall. Back when they were still one of the most profound families in all sects: The Sirens, The Committee and The Alliance. After the incident with Jade, Juan had some business to take care of in the executioners list, and he was entirely occupied. By then, Luke's training had been complete; at least according to him. Juan had left Luke to fend for himself after helping Chrysler in sealing Luke's Siren side. Not to mention, the guy was also a genius when it came to magic. He came up with the strangest solutions, and they always worked. Sealing Luke that way had also been his idea. Based on what I knew, I expected their reunion to bring out tears of joy and happiness.

Regardless of all that, Juan still hadn't been called to help out White Rose with his army of executioners. Yet, he had come. Maybe he had sensed the Luke was no longer sealed.

“You’re in the wrong territory” I cut in, trying to tell him his help hadn't been wanted.

“Relax. I only wanted a reunion” he shrugged.

“It’s sad to see that you call killing the one you want to meet ‘reunion’.” Luke rolled his eyes “Why are you here anyway?”

The Just were beginning to retreat. The victory was ours, since Juan had brought an army along. Eighteen people, who’d leave after their job was done, but they were eighteen strong executioners.

“What a bunch of spineless idiots” Juan sighed

“I repeat” I said, sternly “Why have you come here?”

“Where is that idiot when you most need him?” Juan ignored me and continued rambling

“Who, Chrysler?” Luke asked and I got the feeling that they were usually tuned to the same frequency.

“Yeah!” Juan replied

“I hate that fart face!” Luke fumed, aggressively

“Me too! I feel like murdering him every time we meet!” Juan replied in equal excitement.

“Seriously! He’s just so irritable!” Luke sighed

My eyebrow twitched.

Why was I getting so irritated?

I went ahead and punched Luke on his arm near where the bullet had hit him

Ow!” he recoiled “What’s up with you?!”

“What’s up with you?” I questioned back “You seem to be getting along so well with someone who almost killed you?”

“Get along with him?” Luke spat “Are you out of your freakin’ mind?”

“He is” Juan replied “Undoubtedly.”

“Are you playing with me?” I asked both of them
