Chapter 74 : Date with Fer

"Good morning, Fer-san."

"Yes, good morning. You look as lovely as ever today, Ren-kun."

Today was the day of my date with Fer-san.

On the day of my date with Chris-san, I had stopped by their rental house before returning to Malik-san's house. There, Fer-san told me to just patiently wait for him since he wanted to pick me up from Malik-san's house.

As usual, Fer-san emitted a very sparkly and refreshing aura... And also, he still never forgets to compliment me after all this time...

"I'm not lovely... Anyway, do you really want to go there today?"

"No, you are very lovely and yes, I'd love to go there today."

There was not an ounce of lies in his words, Fer-san truly meant it every time he complimented me. Seeing him like that made me unable to refute his compliment. But anyway, why did Fer-san want to go to that place?

"It's about 30-40 minutes by foot from here. Do you want to walk there?"

"Yes. I have no problem with walking there at all unless Ren-kun prefers to go there with Viktor?"

"No, I don't mind walking. Let's bring Viktor some other time since I'd rather go for a long run with Viktor."

I walked hand in hand with Fer-san. I'd like to go with Viktor too but today, somehow I'd much prefer to be alone with Fer-san.

"This way."

"Fufu~ This is the first time I ever walk on foot through this path. Usually, I always go with Viktor so I don't have many chances to walk around outside the city on foot."

We left the city gate and trotted down the highway. Fer-san sounded so excited and happy. He kept on shooting fleeting glances around, just like a young kid on a field trip. I rarely ever saw Fer-san being like this so it felt refreshing seeing him acting like an excited small child.

When riding with Viktor, Fer-san would've reached the city gate in no time. Fer-san rarely got the chance to observe the area leisurely so everything must've looked unfamiliar for him.

"Taking a leisurely walk once in a while like this feels nice..."

"That's right. Going for a stroll from time to time is good for your health too!"

Walking was a crucial part of my daily life but I never actually go for a stroll just for the sake of it. I usually always have something I need to do when I go for a walk.

"Yes. Going for a stroll with Ren-kun sounds nice but... I can't entertain you like Sig and Chris do so I'm afraid Ren-kun would find walking with me to be boring..."

"Huh?! That's not true! I'm having so much fun right now!"

The mood around us was tranquil and calm but when Fer-san said something like that with a bitter smile on his face, I couldn't help but vehemently object to it with all my might. I've always enjoyed my time with Fer-san so I was really surprised to hear that.

"I'm glad if you really think so..."

"I'm really telling you the truth though? ...Ah! There! That's the forest!"

Fer-san still looked insecure so I tried to reassure him when I saw the forest, our destination for today, on my left side.

"But why do you want to come to the place where I first arrived in Alsar..."
