Sig-san brought me to the corner of the training room where there stood a chair and ushered me to take a seat as he patted my head. Fer-san prepared another chair and put it down on the opposite side of my chair all the while Chris-san was dragging Jude-san, who was still sobbing and sniffling. Chris-san then unceremoniously put the crying Jude-san on the vacant chair.

After Jude-san and I had taken our seat, Chris-san, Sig-san and Fer-san stood behind me, as if they were giving a silent warning to others. The spectators had left the ground after the match had ended. They were satisfied with the fierce battle between the magical beasts despite the match ending with Jude-san throwing a hissy fit.

Well to be fair... Everyone was there for the magical beast after all and Jude-san's green bird magical beast had been using wind magic all the time so the match was pretty flashy...

"Ah... Can I leave this guy to you? I'm sure he will stop crying in a bit."

"Oh, yes. Hugo-san, you can return to work with ease."

"Sorry about my incompetent son... I'll leave him in your care then."

Hugo-san said that while scratching his head in an attempt to mask his awkward feeling. Seeing him apologizing for his son like that, I agreed to look after Jude-san.

Hugo-san was in the middle of his shift when he came to check on his son. When he saw his son was throwing a hissy fit, Hugo-san decided to take matters into his own hand.

The green bird beast and the skeleton beast were hovering worriedly around Jude-san and as time went on, Jude-san seemed to be crying less and less.

『Master! The green one is Corvo and the boney one is Carcassa. I kept calling him Greeny so I didn't know his name before.』

"Oh, thanks."

Altair, who was perching on my shoulder, told me the name of the two magical beasts that I hadn't known.

Corvo and Carcassa, huh. Okay, I got it.

"Nevertheless, he's so soft and fluffy. So cute..."

『Master! Master! I'm still cuter than them, right?』

"Ugh... Spica is so very adorable too~"

I had been holding onto the sleeping Shèvre who was about to get dropped into the ground because Hugo-san had come to drag Jude-san and...

He's so fluffy!!

And he was so light you couldn't even feel his weight at all. My cheeks started to loosen involuntarily and Spica, realizing I was grinning to myself because of Shèvre, returned to his small size and rubbed his body on my ankle, trying to gain my favour back.

Ah.... How come our children become this cute?

"Spica, please wait while I wake this little one up before I hold you, okay? ... 【Release】... Good morning?"

『Hippiii! Pipiiii~ Ruuu~』

『Your Master has lost. Come on, get your ass off of my Master's lap!』

I wanted to keep holding onto Shèvre but Spica looked lonely like that so I decided to wake Shèvre up. As soon as I used [Release], Shèvre woke up with a jerk and started to move restlessly. Not knowing what had happened to him, Shèvre was scurrying around but since he was so thickly wrapped in a bundle of fluffy fur, I couldn't even know where he was looking at since I couldn't discern where his eyes were. Altair, who was resting on my shoulder, grew irritated at Shèvre and chided at him.
