Ren's POV

Everyone was lining up at the gate of the house to see us off.

"Well then... Thank you for your generous hospitality. We really had a comfortable time during our stay here."

"Please feel free to come again anytime you'd like. We'll be looking forward to your visits."

When I expressed my gratitude to them while riding on William with Chris-san. On behalf of everyone, Theo-san stepped forward, bowing his head deeply at us as he said so.

"""We'll be waiting for your visits!"""

Then, everyone bowed their heads at the same time and said that to send us off in unison.

"It's still early in the morning so it should be fine for us to ride the beast horses through the city."

"Yes. We've stayed here for about two weeks but somehow, it didn't feel that long. Time sure went by so quickly~"

We were riding through the town leisurely with our horses when Chris-san talked to me with a smile on his face. We first arrived at the royal capital on July 29th and today was August 12th. It had been two weeks but because our stay here was filled with eventful experiences, it felt like time was flowing in a flash.

I've successfully got promoted to Rank A and I've met their families too. I'm glad I got to do all of that.

I thought to myself as we left the royal capital.

Fer's POV

"Ren! You're back!"

"Ah, Gatekeeper-san. Good day."

We arrived in Pedrel around midday. As we were passing through the gate, the gatekeeper who had spoken to Ren-kun before, called out to him again.

"Yes, we've returned. Ah, thank you, Fer-san."

"You're welcome. We better take Viktor and the others back home with us so they can get their well deserved rest."

I got off from Viktor first and helped Ren-kun down so I could prevent Ren-kun from prolonging his conversation with the gatekeeper. I actually wanted to ride together with him a little longer but there was nothing more I could do about it. Riding on a horse in the middle of the day in the city could be dangerous after all.

We originally planned on heading to the guild first but it would be better to let Viktor and the others rest in their stable first before heading to the guild. Beast horses were too big to walk around in town after all.

"Hey, Ren! You're getting along well with your husbands just like usual, huh?~"

"The-They're not my husbands yet!"

"Oh? Then hurry up and get married already!"

Now, a different man started teasing Ren-kun. He appeared to be the same age as Malik-san.

While we're more than happy if we can marry Ren-kun right away, but we've made a promise with Ren-kun. We'll have to wait for another month and a half before we can get married...

"Damn it.... So they're still together..."

"They look to be on good terms together. Just by looking at them, I can tell that they're not going to break up anytime soon. You better give up. It's definitely impossible for you to join their circle, you know?"
