Chapter 130: Okay, Let's Go

"Sig-san... Wake up... Someone... Please...."

When I woke up, I couldn't even move a muscle because Sig-san was crushing me with his weight.

"Sig! Ren-chan is going to die, you know?~"

"Chris-san... Help..."

I helplessly called for Chris-san's help, who came from outside the room. He then tried to wake the sleeping Sig-san up by hitting Sig-san's head. Sig-san, who still wouldn't wake up despite being hit on the head by Chris-san, must be letting his guard down. He was an adventurer so he was usually able to wake up before someone was able to land a hit on him.

"Don't look at me with tears in your eyes like that, Ren-chan~ Especially with that upward glance~ Come on, Sig?~ Pull yourself together already?~"

The tears were due to Sig-san pinning me down, making me unable to move no matter how hard I tried and I was laying on the bed so it was given that I'd be looking upward at Chris-san!

"Uuuh.... Ah, Ren. Sorry."

"No, it's okay.... Good morning to the two of you. Huh? Where's Fer-san?"

After Chris-san called out to Sig-san again, Sig-san finally woke up. He immediately loosened his grip the moment he realized he had been pinning me down. I looked around after I was freed from my restraint but Fer-san was nowhere to be found.

"Morning~ I went to feed William and the others while Fer went outside to buy something for breakfast. Fer is a prince but since he's also an adventurer, he likes to venture out in the city. He looks friendly to people so I'm sure he will get a lot of freebies this time too~"

"Which reminded me, he was also approached casually by the people too yesterday."

"I'm sure he will get something extra today too, right?~"

I see. So that was why Chris-san wasn't in the room when I woke up. Maybe I overslept too much?

We had been staying in the royal capital for a few days already and it seemed all the people in here already knew Fer-san from his portraits. Of course the soldiers were showing their respect whenever they saw Fer-san but the people in the market were acting pretty friendly with Fer-san even though he was the prince of this kingdom.

The people in the market would keep on giving freebies to Fer-san.

"Your Highness! Please have some of this too!"

Fer-san then would accept it gratefully and ate the food he was given after making sure there wasn't any poison in it.

"Thank you for waiting. Ren-kun, are you guys already awake? Oh, you are. Good morning. I got some oranges so let's have them after we eat breakfast."

"Fufu~ Just as expected."

"Hm?"

While we were talking about him, Fer-san returned. I couldn't help but to laugh when I saw him holding some oranges, just like what Chris-san had predicted. Seeing me laughing at him, Fer-san tilted his head. He looked adorable when he did that.

"Well... First of all, in my family there's my father, Jair. I wonder how old is he now? I think he should be in his mid 50s by now. Then we have my mother, Lise, and my father's other spouse, Adele. I think both of them are around 50 years old."

"Jair-sama, Lise-sama and Adele-sama then."

We were slowly walking with William and the others to Chris-san's house. Chris-san was telling us about his family before we got to meet the Hast. Since Chris-san had warned me before they wouldn't be very welcoming to us, I asked Chris-san to tell us a bit about them first.
