Chapter ⁷ - Ignorance

Abhimaan sat quietly on the dinner table regretting his rash choice of telling his crush that he liked her.
His hunger died long ago.

"Mujhe Lagta Hai Ke, Batein Dil Ki,

Hoti Lafzon Ki Dhoke Bazi,

Tum Saath Ho,

Ya Na Ho, Kya Fark Hai,

Be dard Thi Zindagi, Bedard Hai"

Abhiyansh sang, seeing no reaction from his brother he nudged Abhimanyu. 

"Tujhe yaad na meri aayi, kisi se ab kya kehna...

Dil roya ki ankh bhar aayi, kisi se ab kya kehna..." 

Abhimanyu continued wanting to see some reaction from his older brother.

" Enough!" Abhimaan yelled.

" Why Bhai we were just singing." Abhiyansh innocently said.

" I know what you both are trying to do so shut it."

" This is India and we have freedom of speech. Have you read our constitution?" Abhimanyu told his brother.

" I can take that freedom by removing your vocal cords."

" So violent. What will Maa think when she gets to know her son is a bad boy." Abhiyansh teased.

" Why are you troubling him? Leave him alone Ansh." Ayaanshi told glaring at his twin brother.

" You guys finish eating. I'm done. Abhimanyu and Abhiyansh clean the dishes it's your duty today." He said and left for his room.

He quickly dialled his father's number wanting to fight that old man.

" It worked, didn't it?" A smug voice spoke from the other side.

" Worked my ass your son got rejected."

" That's sad. If only you were even 1% as charming as me then the girl might have said yes."

" Baba"

" It's okay I knew something like that might happen, so your baba prepared a part 2 of the plan."

" This better be good baba I'm trusting you."

" Your mother is still smitten by me so don't worry your baba knows what he is doing."
