I am now dry and in comfortable clothes. I walk downstairs and everyone is gathered around the little fire pit in the garden. Fireworks are about to be let off any minute.

I see Noah walking towards me with his hands in his short pockets. "Hey." I say softly. "Hey." He smiles whilst leaning down to kiss my forehead.

"I'm taking you somewhere once we have watched the fireworks." He demands calmly as I wrap my arms around his torso. "Where?" I hum and I bury my head into his top. Noah's hands circle my back and occasionally run through my hair.

"You'll see." He exhales. We stand still in each others arms and wait for the fireworks to disrupt the peace.

The fireworks shoot up into the sky as fireballs and then erupt into beautiful coloured stars. They lit up everybody's eyes as we gazed in amazement. The popping and bangs were the only things to be heard for miles.

As the fireworks evaporate, Noah let's his hold withdrawal from around me. I do the same and he holds out is hand. I take it in mine as he leads me out the back garden and to the car on the front.

He opens me the door and I sit in the passenger seat waiting for him to get in and start the car.

When the car is started the radio has a mashup of different songs. I turn it up and we sit there enjoying the rhythm to our ears.

It doesn't take long until the car stops. My eyes widen in realisation. We are where she lays. He has brought me to Ellie's grave.

I look across to him with tears in my eyes. "I put the pieces together earlier and then suddenly everything clicked in my head." Noah explains. I reach out and hold his hands. "Thank you." I smile as tears fall down my cheeks.

He frees one of his hands from my grasp to wipe my tears away. "I had a panic attack." I confess trying to look away. Noah's thumb pulls my chin back to the centre so that I'm facing him.

"I'm so proud of you." He says ever so soft. His doughy eyes looked like they were going to melt. "What for?" I furrow my eyebrows.

"I'm proud of you for getting through it on your own. You wiped your own tears, you steadied your breathing, you brought yourself back, and then you built a temporary wall so that you could enjoy the rest of the day. I'm proud of you Maya." Noah states whilst smiling at me.

I lean forwards and press my lips against his. "It wouldn't be possible without you." I breath out as I pull away from the gentle peck. He leans his forehead against mine and we stare into each others eyes.

"I am so proud of you." He whispers as we hold onto each others hands.

I am first to pull away as I undo my seat belt. Just as I'm about to open the door, Noah locks the car doors. He unlocks his door and runs round. I giggle as he grasps the passenger door handle.

It opens and he holds out his hand. "You don't ever open a car door when you are with me." He frowns. I giggle and pass him my hand.

We walk towards Ellie's grave hand in hand. The summer sun is setting along the horizon. It's beautiful.

I place my free hand on her headstone. "You're making the sky so pretty." I nod whilst holding back tears. "I wish that the skies would be ugly forever, and have you back." I explain.

I turn to Noah and his eyes lock with mine. "Do you think she found peace?" I puzzle. The pad of his thumb brushes my cheeks dry and he giggles before answering my question.

"I think that she is sat back on the comfiest seat, eating her favourite foods surrounded by warmth and happiness. And she's probably ranting at the imaginary tv that is letting her witness snippets of your life, shouting 'what the fuck is he doing here?'" Noah explains.
